I have stayed here frequently on business and will likely continue to do so. Service is friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and comfortable although I don't think they have the latest beds yet. My room was right next to the elevator but it didn't bother me. Heating system was slightly noisy. The fitness room is reasonably well equipped but too small to use things like the free weights. I like the Courtyard's new restaurants but breakfast was surprisingly expensive.

I stayed one-night at this property. With tax, I paid about $100.00 for the night. The lobby and cafe area are newly renovated and look great. The front desk was fast and friendly. The renovation of the property has gone no further than the lobby. The hallways and rooms have dated decor, but they are clean and acceptable. The parking is free (other higher-end properties in SLC use parking fees to empty your pockets).

The location is good. You can walk everywhere downtown that you might want to visit. Downtown SLC at night is overcroweded with street people, so you might want to avoid walking around after dark.

Newly updated lobby and bistro. Fitness room is better than most places with quality equipment. Room was very clean but could use a mini fridge. Close to everything within walking distance. No free breakfast was an issue for some but I found a french bakery called Gourmandise that we ate at everyday.

Spouse & I stayed 2 nights in early September 2011. Price was very reasonable - significantly lower than the big Marriott (not Courtyard) 2 blocks away. Nice hotel, 4-5 blocks from Temple Square, very clean, modern lobby, helpful staff and nicely apportioned room. No free breakfast but free coffee/tea in lobby (also with coffee pot in room), good lobby & room email access, lobby also with large interactive information screen for the city and a dedicated computer terminal/printer to print boarding passes. . Bistro in lobby – somewhat expensive (on par with airport food) – but convenient – we ate a breakfast here. 1½ blocks from the FREE downtown trolley system – a very handy and convenient way to travel downtown SLC, and within walking distance of multiple restaurants, bars, and sights. The SLC visitor’s center is a few blocks away. We would certainly stay here again.
