My wife and I recently stayed at the Courtyard for a 3-night weekend ski vacation. All we wanted was a place to freshen up and recharge after spending all day on the slopes. Unfortunately, on Friday and Saturday nights we were kept up from about 11:00 until who knows when by the sound of thudding bass coming out of a neighboring night club (I guess they took Sunday off). I understand that staying in a downtown hotel there may be a fair bit of ambient noise, but no number of pillows over the head could mask this boom.
The quality of the furniture and finishes in our room was fine, we didn't have any particular issues with the hotel itself. But if you have to stay here, at least on a weekend, make sure you ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from room 240.
