Where to start…. The customer service is nonexistent, when I called to see if they had any availabilities I should have known right away that the girl at the front desk had no people skills. On top of the fact that the room had probably not been updated since the 1960’s it stunk of what I thought was to be Indian food. Honestly I have never stay in anything as dumpy as this place before. I think the worst part has to be the price you pay to stay at this dump 130 after tax!? Give me a break! Two words STAY AWAY!

The Riviera had perhaps the last vacancy in Port Angeles. It was a busy July weekend. They ignored applying the AAA discount and charged us $150 for a room worth maybe $65. Perhaps the owners will someday comprehend the relationship between price-gouging and being the last place to fill. But it won’t make a difference to us – we won’t ever rent at the Riviera again at any price.

It was a 3 days weekend so it was really difficult to find any big room when I tried to book a hotel in this area. And the review just before me scared me, but I didn't have another choice, so we gave it a try.

Finally, we found this hotel suits perfectly our needs. We had a family suite in this well located hotel. Just a minute from tourist center and waterfront. This hotel is old but we had a huge room with 1 queen bed and 2 full beds. Everything was very clean. Owners were nice. Small breakfast included. And hotel price was very good.

So I will recommend this hotel to people who want to pay low price for an hotel and spend a lot of time in Olympic National Park.

I stayed here for two days in June after reading the reviews. I should have thought something was wrong when there were no reviews for nearly a year. The Front Desk were quite cold to me and made me feel unwelcome.
The rooms weren't bad, but there were hairs in my sheets. The room smelled like dogs and smelled very moldy. This place may have been ok at one time, but is now going downhill fast.
