My husband and I stayed there for one night to attend a graduation in Macon on Saturday. At first the woman at the front desk seemed polite and friendly. That was so until we paid and checked in. After that, there was no interest in accomdating us. My husband began to experience problems with his legs, and was in pain and had extreme difficulty walking, so in the morning I asked the woman at the front desk if I could take a bagle and juice to the room for him. She abruptly refused and directed me to a sign on the wall that the food was not to be taken from the lobby area, absolutely no exceptions.
The motel also advertised that it has a "hot breakfast". What a joke!!! A waffle maker alone with choices of dried cereal and bagles to be toasted does not constitute a "hot" breakfast! If that is the case, then hotels serving coffee can advertise that they serve a "hot" breakfast. Hotels/Motels that I have stayed at in the past that serve a hot breakfast actually have hot food (e.g. eggs, sausages, etc.)
Then when I was checking out and requested a receipt, this same woman acted like I was requesting something that I was not entitled to, and indicated that I should have received a credit card receipt upon checking in. She then reluctantly provided me with a receipt.
Thankfully it was only one night that we stayed at that place, and we certainly do not plan on returning.
