“Disappointing”

Although we can generally trust the quality of Holiday Inn Xpress, we were disappointed with our one-night stay in Macon. It was not up to par with other places we've stayed. Issues included: inconvenient access to front of hotel, detail cleaning not evident, too small breakfast area, not enough breakfast food when we arrived for breakfast, poor selection of food, and "Lady Bugs" flying around inside room. We do not plan to stay there again.

“Old Hotel”

This hotel is definitely showing signs of aging. I have stayed here quite a few times while traveling on business. Honestly, I don't think I would ever pay to stay here. The lobby and elevator areas appear to be upgraded, by the rooms are old and dingy. On my last visit I noticed quite a bit of noise coming from the "pipes". I guess it may be worth it if you can get a good deal and stay for a night, otherwise stay elsewhere....

“Very Nice Hotel”

Stayed one night using Priority Rewards. Very nice hotel, it was quiet, roomy, and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn Express which is good enough to get you going in the morning.

Ate dinner at the Cracker Barrel just a few blocks away.

After a long day of travelling for my two sons and I, arriving here was a very nice end to a very long day. Smooth check-in, clean and comfortable room, beds were very comfortable, slept like logs. Obviously not intended to be a 5-star accommodation but top 20% of class.
