We stopped in at the front desk and a very nice girl behind the front desk greeted us. She charged us for our room and gave us the key. When I opened the door to the room it felt extremely small. I was willing to deal with it for one night. I walked towards the bathroom when I saw a dead bug on the floor when I looked down at it I saw a piece of something that should not have been there had someone vacuumed properly. I went to the bathroom and there was hair on the toilet. Now I was worried and began to check further. My mom said the tub didn't look too clean. I check the bed and one of the pillows had dried spots of blood on it. We tried to call the front desk amd nobody answered.We immediately went back to the front desk. The nice girl was still there and didn't look surprised at our complaints. She apologized a bunched of times. We asked if all the rooms were the same size and she said yes. We asked if the same person cleaned all the rooms(for some reason we were willing to give another room a try). She said yes. We asked for our money back and amd left. The girl apologized again, and I just feel sorry for her because she is just doimg her job and has to work there.

I had previously stayed here with no problems. Now tell me, after all the places I've stayed in my life, why is it that 2 out of the last three times someone has knocked on my door looking for money. I can see once; but, twice? This has never happened anywhere else. I don't feel safe at this place and will no
longer stay here.

I was traveling by myself to Florida and didn't need anything fancy. I found a great rate on a travel site so I went ahead and booked it. The lady at the front desk was very friendly when I checked in and even gave me directions to a nearby Target store because I needed to pick up a few things. The room itself was nothing fancy, but adequate. Unfortunately around 2 am a bunch of drug addicts and their dealers showed up in the parking lot and spent most of the rest of the night getting high and arguing with each other. I had driven an hour past Atlanta largely to avoid this very problem. I didn't call the front desk because I didn't want to turn on the light and freak those guys out, but I find it impossible to believe that the hotel was unaware of this. I really thought they were going to start shooting at any moment and just hoped I didn't get hit. A decent property, but the neighborhood obviously needs a lot of work. I doubt I'll be back in Macon anytime soon, but if I am I'll be staying somewhere else.

Given the worrisome range of ratings for this motel, we were more than a little concerned when checking in on our way to the coast. We found that the negatives were totally unwarranted - that while the very comfortable room may not be deluxe or large enough for 2-3% of the population, for the rest of us, this Ramada represents a very safe choice for cleanliness, comfort, and value.
