I stayed at the Extended Stay North in Macon, Georgia in June of 2010. I was very pleased with the cleanileness of the hotel. The location had an eay access to the interstate and plenty of places to eat within one half mile of the property. Special thanks Ms. Vera the receptionist on duty when we arrived. She greeted us with such care and concern that is rarely received when checking in to hotels. She also had a friendly word and great smile every time you entered or passed through the lobby. I would definately recommend using this facility and I willl make that my stopping place when returning to that area of Georgia. John, (Retired Military)

I didn't need the extra amenities since I was only staying a few days but since I booked through Hotwire, I got the kitchenette. This was one of the better Extended Stay hotels that I've been to. Everything that you'd expect from extended stay, but slightly better.... Better staff, management, and security. Overall, I was very comfortable staying here and it was a great value. The only con was the road work near the freeway onramp.

I travel for business combined with pleasure, my wife & 3 year old always come with, we stay in hotels almost every week for 2-4 nights across the SE so we have experienced the good, the bad & the ugly & we are picky within reason (hate dirt, mold & or stench). My 3-year-old takes his shoes & socks off the minute we hit the room and believe me if the carpet is a little dirty we will know within minutes (I have checked out of hotels because his feet were black with dirt). Overall this place is clean.
Word of warning this hotel is pet friendly (which is great if you are traveling with your dog). Unfortunately it seems that some pet owners don’t know how to read and instead of walking their pet in the designated areas they just go anywhere around the premise. This lends itself to the smell of dog poop & pee when you walk out of the building to the parking lot. It did not impact the interior.

Comes with microwave, coffeepot & full size refrigerator and 4 burner stove with your basic pans and dishware so you can cook your breakfast, lunch & dinner, pull out couch & a DVD player. For this reason like all of the extended stay type hotels they do not serve breakfast (did do coffee & rolls) Also has a pool I didn’t get to use but looked fine, along with a workout room. They do not do daily room service unless you pay an additional $3 per day. This is how they keep costs down while offering you more.

If you understand the concept it can be a cost-effective way to stay.

It is in a great location to a large verity of restaurants and quick food joints, easy access to interstate I75.
