After 9 hours on the road we received a warm welcome by the Manager and her team, our chalet was clean, well kept definitely value for money and in keeping with the surrounding natural environment with a small local pub close by, handy for getting to know folk.
Our experience was made all the more memorable by the hotel staff giving us a brief tour of the local eateries and attractions. A worthwhile respite from a long drive. Fantabulous!!

I spent two nights last easter at your hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room comfortable and clean. I would happily return any day. Helen S.

I think the rooms were recently renovated. it was clean, sleek, the bed was lovely to sleep in.
However, the reception was terrible, didn't feel welcome at all, overall the service was poor. I asked for a different kettle as there were residue inside the kettle. It never came. No room service.
If you are travelling through busy period, I suggest you book the restaurant in the hotel, as there are only 3-4 cafe/restaurants to eat from and they do not serve any food after 9pm. I had to end up eating my instant cup a noodle for dinner as the restaurant did not take any more patrons after 8:30pm.

Despite the high price for the rooms, the welcome was disinterested and unfriendly. The rooms and corridors smelled of mould. The lock on the door to our room didn't work, which we didn't discover until a staff member burst in without knocking the next morning. And despite there being empty spaces in the car park, we were informed that there was no parking on-site and "we were welcome to park on the street". Gee, thanks.
