After a long flight from the USA, we just wanted to sleep and this motel was perfect. Pat was wonderful and even greeted us when we showed up after hours. The welcome muffins were exactly what we needed. I also liked the free wifi.

We stayed in this modern motel for one night in passing (driving from Northland to King Country) but could easily have stayed more. The room was spacious and well laid out. The owners really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome.

The location may not suit everyone - it's good for the airport, not so good for the CBD or North Shore - but this wasn't an issue for us.

Pat and Bernie are fabulous hosts and provided us with a very warm welcome upon our arrival in New Zealand. As someone else has mentioned, the muffins are particularly delicious. We stayed for only one night as we were heading south, but it was the perfect start to our time in New Zealand. Pat's recommendation for a local curry was also much appreciated.

We stayed here for week in early Dec. because it was convenient, now we will stay here whenever we are in Auckland, what a find!!
Pat and Bernie are two of the nicest people you will find and go out of their way to assist you if it is humanly possible and the muffins were to die for!!
The establishment is spotlessly clean and well maintained and it is obvious they pride themselves on its appearance, the unit we had was the cleanest unit I have stayed in ever and the beds were so comfortable.
It is easy to find and close to the Airport and easy to get to the city from , so ticks all the boxes there. We didn"t even notice the traffic sounds given there is a major road nearby.
All in all a peaceful haven in a busy city, run by people who obviously care for what they do.
