This hotel simply excellent! the view is magnificcient due to the cliff location. the staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and always ready to help you. The food at breakfast is very good quality, always something new to try out every day so the variety is very good. the juices of natural fruit simply delicious. Be aware that because of the excellent view of the hotel you need to go down 196 steps and then up!!! It's an excellent workout though so please eat up. The beach bar is very friendly and the food nice. However it's very expensive. If you can buy water in the village of Pipa as this is the most expensive thing at the hotel especially if you drink a lot. You can take a long walk to the Baia of golfinhos where you can see the dolphins if you are lucky. We managed to see them three days but because of the waves you don't get a clear view. On that beach as well there is a couple who sell bikinis on the beach, it's a very humble and nice couple so buy from them. You can also see a very popular bar there where the service is terrible and the quality of the food is not good at all!! If you want to take a trip out in a buggy negotiate the price in the pipa village with the actual drivers that you will see there. If you go with the hotel it's much too expensive. In Pipa, the best restaurant we went to is Risoteria in the main street, excellent quality of risottos and the meat as well, it's very small. The worst place is Lampião which is the restaurant you will see publicised everywhere and popular. The meat was soooo hard to chew!!! They served us three small bits of meat hard as shoe sole, the capifruta was like an icecream!! It was the most expensive restaurant and not worth it at all!!!

We were looking for a place to relax. We definitely found the spot. Just in front of a infinite seafront, 200 steps to go to the beach (nothing to worry about), the staff is absolutely great (regards to João Paulo, Antonio, Silvan.....), the rooms are great (you have to see room 38!), the food is delicious and they have regular transports to take you to Pipa.
Strongly recommend and will return soon....

My husband and I booked for a 3 night stay in a standard room, based on the recommendation of an american couple we had met in Argentina. This was the BEST recommendation we were given on the entire trip!
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, it was clear that a lot of thought had been given to the hotel and its surroundings. The hotel is well located half way between Pipa and Tibau de Sul, with a regular hotel shuttle to Pipa at any time during the day and hourly in the evenings, for a small fee. The rooms are scattered around the very large property, well hidden from the road and from the beach (you can't even see the hotel when you're on the beach). The grounds are beautifully maintained. We made friends with one of the gardeners, and one morning we found him feeding these tiny monkeys with bananas by the pool. So this became our morning ritual, we would take bananas with us before and after breakfast in the hope of feeding them, so fun and unexpected.

Our room was fabulous, with a comfortable king size bed, mini bar, extremely large bathroom with great shower and a perfect view of paradise from our private porch (which also had a large hammock for relaxing to the sound of waves). Needless to say we really loved it! The third morning of our stay we were woken at 7:30am by construction work next door, the rooms passed the pool with the unobstructed view, are all being updated. We rang reception twice before the workman stopped for an hour, obviously not what you want when you're on holiday. The staff were very apologetic and offered to move us to another room, which we were reluctant to do as we were very happy in our room, though we didn't want to put up with the construction noise in the mornings. We went to check out the room which the staff wanted to move us to, and it was even bigger and better than the room we were in! It was the Super room which is the top one they have, so we moved in and extended our stay for an additional 3 nights.

The pool is great with a lovely pool bar, though the bar tends to close fairly early during the week, and we got caught out a few times and had to order cocktails through the restaurant. We ate at the hotel's restaurant a few times and had a couple of stand-out meals. Breakfast was nice each morning with a varied buffet (though there could be a little more non-jamon/ham choice offered). We became friendly with Roberto (one of the waitstaff) who lent us his own surfboard to use for a few days which was really nice.

Most of the staff were great and really made an effort to make sure our holiday was perfect. We really loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed even longer!

Wonderful view. Wonderful staff. Wonderful food. Wonderful swimming pool. It is a little bit expensive, but it is very very good.
