“No Pride in their business”

I would like to first say, shame on us for not reading any of the reviews before staying here. It was a last minute decision and it was late at night. My wife wanted to see the room first, but since they were so far away and we were tired we didn't. Well, all the filthy reviews are absolutely correct. That was only the half of it. Their maintanence man must have quit, paint was peeling off the walls. The pool was closed because of issues. They hand printed us a receipt because of issues. Were not one to complain, and I'm sure there's enough bad reviews that this one won't change anyone's mind. I will say that if your in the area, do yourself a favor and stay at the Best Western in Dartmouth on Rt 6. We stood there the next night for less then 20 more and the rooms were brand new.

“My Beautiful wedding at the Days Inn.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011 via mobile

I had my wedding there on November 26, 2011. First I have to say the service was excellent. They were really great with helping me plan my beautiful day. When I walked in the banquet room I couldn't believe how beautiful they had set up everthing. My quest was all pleased with the food; great portion and tasteful. Excellent customer service!!! Never will forget my wedding day at the Days Inn.

“Stop of last resort”

Had to schedule a last minute trip to Martha's Vineyard and had to leave early in the morning on the 6:30 AM Fast Ferry so I needed a hotel nearby. That is the highlighjt of this review. The hotel is 3 miles from the ferry. I got there at 8:45 PM. A drunk was sitting in the lobby and no one was at the front desk. The drunk said someone would be back soon. I waited 15 minutes until the manager showed up and said he was short-staffed. Hard to imagine why since MA has 11% unemployment. Got my key and went to my room. It had not been cleaned so I returned to the front desk. another wait, then an apology and a new room assignment. Got to the room and the door key didn't work. Returned to the desk; the manager was there but so were a busload of tourists. Took a while to get to the manager but ultimately got a new key which worked. My room was adequate sized but poorly equipped with an ancient TV. For $69 I didn't expect a lot but I did expect a bath towel bigger than many washcloths I've had. The room was clean but the soundproofing poor as I heard my neighbors on both sides. I have no idea whether the local area was safe or not. But I would be concerned as there was no apparent security. If I was desperate I'd stay again as there are worse places to stay but I have to believe there are many better ones too.

“I'd Choose Another Spot!”

We made our reservation online a couple of hours before our arrival for a non-smoking room with a king-sized bed. Upon arrival we learned that no such rooms were available, so we settled for a room with two double beds. No big deal...just a disappointment! This is a hotel with a convention center...like a Holidome...so we figured they'd overbooked.
The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable with nice bedding, so we got a good night's rest.
The next morning we arrived in the breakfast area to find one other customer. Hmmm...there were bagels, bread, and English muffins, but only jelly to go atop them. No butter. No cream cheese or peanut butter either. There was milk and juice. There were Kellogg's Corn Flakes. That's it! No fruit, yogurt... Seemed strange for a hotel with convention center. I asked at the front desk about the possibility of getting butter. The clerk pointed me to the young gal vacuuming. No, they don't have butter and never have butter, cream cheese, or peanut butter. Another traveler entered the breakfast area and was as surprised as the three of us already seated.
Before departing, I stopped at the restroom near the breakfast area. Yikes! There were towels strewn and one of the stools was FULL and nearly overflowing.
We continued on to the whaling museum in New Bedford. While there, I picked up a brochure about the town. In the listings of motels was the Days Inn Hotel and Conference Center. Oh my! It described the pool, jacuzzi rooms, continental breakfasts, etc. I pity the next unsuspecting traveler.
I DID contact Wyndham Rewards about the condition of this affiliate and I greatly appreciate their help.

“Mrs Dailey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

This hotel suits my families needs to get away for a few days and relax by the pool, no need to make up the bed the maid will do it, a light breakfast and out for the day. Don't feel like going out order in. I needed a iron to lightly press my clothes for the evening and the staff was right there to assist. Had I not had plans for the evening I might have spent a couple of hours at the hotel bar, maybe next time. Speedy check out with a smile, I will definitely
come back and stay and also recommend this place to others.

Room Tip: I just asked for a room with double occupancy, and none smoking.
