“Location,Location,Location!”

Wailea is our favorite district on Maui. The sunsets are incredible! We've been able to see more "green flashes" here, than anywhere else in the world.

And, other than the multimillion dollar beachfront homes on the turn
To Kihei, there are no other places like Elua Village to get up close and personal with the ocean, the sky, the surrounding islands, and in the winter months, with the humpback whales. Our unit this year is 1305. We have stayed in up to ten other units there over the years, but 1305 is our favorite. The views of Kaoolawe, Molokini, Lana'i, Haleakala, and the West Maui Mountains from the spacious well equiped patio and lanai are awesome enough! But add freshly updated tropical decor, well stocked kitchen, and three full baths and bedrooms and you have a little slice of Heaven in paradise.

The rental agents, Ali'i Resorts did a fabulous job of taking care of us. Our towels were traded out daily. Linens are changed twice a week and the cleaning and maintenance people were always there for anything we needed. This stay was a 10 out of 10!!!

“Great Condos, Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

I stayed at the Wailea Elua Village while visiting Maui with family. There's so much glitz and glamour in the big resorts. Wailea Elua doesn't have that, but it's even better. It's a much quieter, more peaceful Maui experience.

The beach was wonderful--never overcrowded (which I cannot say about the beaches at the big resorts) with excellent snorkeling right off the beach. On top of that, there are some wonderful tide pools that are definitely worth exploring during low tide. I went down there with my two young cousins (7 and 9 years old) and we all had a blast looking at fish and sea urchins and sea cucumbers and spider crabs. Totally great. Like the beach, the pool was never crowded, had lots of seating, and heated to a perfect temperature.

The rooms themselves were perfect. It was great to have access to a kitchen and everything was clean and well-maintained. Each condo had a BBQ grill--which was a wonderful amenity when cooking for a group of 13. The view from the condos varied, but ours had a fabulous view of the ocean. We could even see humpback whales swimming off-shore--what an amazing experience!

On top of the condos themselves, they are located in a great place: Right on the Wailea beach walk, so you can walk down and see the other resorts for dining and shopping. It's a leisurely 10-minute walk to the shops at Wailea, which have some good restaurants, coffee shops, and plenty of great shopping. Overall, I was really impressed with these condos and would definitely opt to stay in them over one of the big resorts any day.

“Great stay, beautiful facility, wonderful beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 January 2012

We rented 3 condos in Elua for a family get-together. While renting from VRBO (vacation rental by owner) we were 'handed off' to Destination Resorts as the management unit. Each condo was unique, and very nice. Each was just as advertised. The overall Elua complex is beautifully landscaped, and all of our condo's had beautiful beach views. Each Condo was well maintained, and when we did have to interact with DRH several times (golf T-times, refill propane in a grill, tickets for whale watching) they were always very nice, and responsive. This was our 7 family trip to Wailea, and our first in Elua. We will be back, as this was by far the 'best overall'

The views from the units in this group of condos is great. They sit on one of the best beaches in Maui. This was our second stay and won't be our last.

“Great location”

Traveled with my extended family and enjoyed the location the most. The rooms were nice size, beds not so comfortable and a bit of a wet or moist smell in our room. Kitchen size great and the place was large enough for our 6 adults and 3 children. Recommend for the value as it's much more expensive to be at the neighbor hotels/condos which have access to the same views and beaches.
