My husband and I recently returned to Sunset View Guest Cottages for the first time since our wedding on the bluff at Sunset View in March 2008. It was just as magnificent and peaceful as the first time. It is under different ownership since our first visit, and we found the same special touches that made it so perfect then are still present. The beauty of the Mississippi River while sitting on the bluff drinking champagne can make anyone feel at peace. Once again, highly recommended, and we cannot wait for the chance to return.

We stopped at Sunset View for a one night stay in our trip to the Delta area. We had a very nice clean cottage sitting right on the bluff over the river with a great view. The cottage had a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and sun porch. A short drive got us to the mansions for a few tours, followed by dinner in town, and then we sat out on the chairs in the back yard and watched the barges go by. A great Mississippi River experience.

We stayed in the Gatekeepers Cottage and had a wonderful, relaxing getaway. Louise had stocked the kitchen with snacks and "adult beverages". The decor in all the rooms was tasteful. There are no words to describe the sunsets over the Mississippi as viewed from the bluff behind the cottages. We will be back.

These cottages are amazing. Louise is the perfect hostess, there if you need her but not hovering over you. The decor and ambiance in the large grey cottage is incredible - perfect place to sit on the porch and watch the world go by. Comfy beds, large sitting area, and the most delicious quiches in the morning made this such a wonderful trip. Take some wine & cheese out to the patio overlooking the river and enjoy! I would never stay anywhere else while visiting Natchez!
