i have now visited every b and b natchez has to offer and the burn is far and away better than any of the others. from the delightful owners and management to the cleanliness of the rooms and baths it just can't be beat. they offer wine every afternoon and the breakfast is the best in natchez. to experience the wonders of natchez begin and end your days at the burn you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: there is not a bad room in the house!!

“Charming step into the past!”

The Burn is our favorite place to stay in Natchez. Over the past 25 years we have stayed there many times. It has been renovated to it's original glory! The rooms are lovely, the breakfast delicious and our hosts made us feel most welcome. Our last visit was to introduce our friends to the charm of Natchez.. After a day of touring it was wonderful to return to the Burn each evening.

“One of my favorite B&B places!”

This place was awesome. I went with a small group of 4 of us and we were treated with the perfect hospitality and the place was just wonderful. The tour was great and learning about it all...made it wonderful. Also, the breakfast was delicious and staff were so friendly!!!! I would def recommend staying here.

The perfect getaway for a group of friends who want to stay, relax, and do dinner and drinks (I recommend a margarita at Fat Mama's before and then a nice dinner at the Castle). EVEN more perfect for a romantic getaway!

Room Tip: I loved our room outside in the courtyard. It was so cozy and cute!

“Real Southern luxury and hospitality”

My husband I just spent a long weekend at The Burn, and I found it to be a flawlessly run B&B with some of the most beautiful, authentic furniture and interior design I've ever seen in an antebellum home (I grew up in Charleston, SC, which also boasts many antebellum homes and plantations). The owners, the Greens, have clearly poured their hearts and souls into preserving and celebrating this beautiful home and staying true to its origins. The manager, Nell, is an angel and is so welcoming and caring and seems to love the Burn just as much as the Greens do. The rooms are big, the breakfasts are hearty Southern spreads, and the wine in the afternoons is a special touch I haven't seen at many places. Also loved that The Burn is a short walk to downtown Natchez and also to the riverwalk along the Mississippi River. Perfect location and met all my expectations! Can't wait to come back. Ooh, I should also mention we slept the best we've slept in years :)

“Nearly perfect, just missing the owners.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 June 2011

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We wanted to getaway for a quick weekend. The room, bathroom and breakfast were all great. The only things we would have liked is that the wifi worked in our room. And then we'd like to see the owners and know that they care about The Burn. That being said, we'll probably be back for a third time!
