“very comfortable stay at this hotel”

We booked in for 2 nights Oct 1 and 2. Very nice hotel. Great lobby; well decorated; lots of wood-which suited the area of the hotel. Our room was very nice-good amenities; VERY comfortable beds; nice bathroom; good hot breakfast which was included in our room rate; coffee available at the front 24 hours as well as a computer available to guests. Good lighting in the room ;Lots of parking. The hotel was very clean and well-kept. The hotel was also all non-smoking. The windows opened as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly stay there again.

“Friendly hotel, free breakfast what a treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2011

We stayed here for three nights visiting many of the attractions in the area. The hotel was one of the most friendliest hotels we have stayed in, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and most comfortable, breakfast was a do it yourself free style and was a treat as we did not expect this. We really liked this hotel.
Had a fitness room and swimming pool never used it as we did not have time. As a hotel to stay at whilst visiting the attractions at Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and The Badlands it was ideal.

“Perfect for the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2011

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the Badlands. I found it to be a 5-star quality hotel with upgraded bedding and amenities. The rooms are very large. The included buffet breakfast is really good (thank Laura for that!) and the indoor pool and hot tub is the perfect way to end a day of terrific sightseeing. The small fitness room has good equipment. This hotel is on par with more expensive chains: the Best Western Plus hotels are a good value.

Room Tip: Ask for a 1st floor room that does not face the parking lot.

“Clean, neat hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 September 2011

Ok, so this is a straight up, no frills Best Western Hotel- clean and neat. A bit too much I think to call it a lodge except for some honest attempt in the lobby. Staff are friendly however no bellboys here. You carry your own luggage to your rooms pretty much. Outdated gym, pool and spa. Rooms are spacious and contemporary. Drab carpeting. Breakfast is standard fare- be prepared to eat the same food everyday if you are planning to eat here every morning.

Travel Background: over 100 nights in hotels a year, domestic and international.

Good hotel, decent location, a little out of town, but not bad. Traveling with 11 people, booked 3 rooms, all were clean.
