Comfortable with loads of character. Friendly staff,good food,reasonable rates.

Lovely building, tastefully decorated interior and rooms. Friendly staff. Good food. Possibly the best eatery in Comrie. Really hard to fault! My only complaint is that the wi-fi didn't work in my room. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed over on business mid week and were greeted with warm hospitality and friendly Scots candour.
The Honeymoon suite is a lovely room with excellent sized en suite bathroom. The hotel is well furnished in a period style, the bar very cosy and the evening meal was excellent - Some of the best lamb, venison and Haggis I've had.
Barman, reception and breakfast staff all were good. A very pleasant stay!

We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary as we had discovered the village of Comrie a couple i
of years before. It was a very nice hotel, relaxed and welcoming. Our room was a wee bit small on first impression but was actually fine once we settled in. My wife complained that it was a bit warm on the first night and it was not possible to change the radiator setting. Food in restaurant was great despite the over poached eggs and the missing fried egg from my wife's full Scottish. Nice bar area and old library sitting area. Some of the carpets are a bit threadbare and it could do with a bit of modernisation in certain areas. But it is an old hotel with lots if character.
