“Loved the Dream Weaver, could improve on a few things though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

We just returned from our 2-night stay in the Dream Weaver cabin at Copper Creek. There were so many things we loved about the cabin, but there were a couple things they could improve on.

First, what we loved: the large private hot tub a few steps from our cabin!! the privacy of the cabin; the full kitchen (which we used to make breakfast and lunch); the way the cabin stayed warm even in late January; the DVD library in the cabin; the bbq and full porch (wish we could have used it!); the outdoor lights around the cabin; the fire pit behind the cabin (again, wish we could have used it) the Power Outage Kit they supplied (glad we didn't have to use it); having the restaurant menu in our cabin; loved the rustic furniture; the ability to self-check in and out with the supplied code to the lock on our door. No worries about keys or checking in at some desk.

Overall the cabin seemed to be clean, but there was one thing I noticed, the coffee grounds from the previous occupants were still in the coffee pot, and the coffee grinder had not been cleaned out. Made me wonder what else hadn't been done.

Our main complaint was being awakened both mornings by the alarm on the stereo, which was set to go off at 5:45 am......not knowing how to "unset" it, I unplugged the unit but it must have a battery back-up because it went off again the second morning. That and the fact that one of the smoke alarms decided to "chirp" at 4:15 one morning didn't make for restful sleep. It's a pity, because the bed was very comfy and otherwise the sleeping conditions were great. Sadly because of this, I'm down-grading our sleep quality rating from excellent to poor, I never was able to get back to sleep.

One kind of strange thing we noticed was that all the clocks in the cabin had been set 15-20 minutes ahead....we wondered if they didn't trust us to be out by the check-out time (?) No big deal, just kind of strange.

We had dinner one night at the Copper Creek Inn Restaurant. The food was very good and certainly big portions. The blackberry pie was fantastic, and I'm very picky when it comes to pies!

“Copper Creekside Cabin”

Copper Creekside Cabin was everything I had hoped for and more.
This cabin is right off the creek and you can see the creek from the cabin as well as enjoy the peaceful sound of the water running.
There are three rooms and all of them are fantastic. What a great view
from the backyard. Woodsy and a lovely view of the creek. This is
definitely a Great place to relax and enjoy the view. So homey. The jet bath tub is lovely and has a view of the backyard with the trees and creek. What more can you ask for. Definitely will be coming back next
August for even a longer stay. Got to meet Phil, one of the owners and had a delightful conversation. Really nice guy. The Copper Creek
Inn Restaurant is just a short walk away. Great food, great service.
This cabin is only a few miles from the Park Entrance. Enjoyed hiking Mount Rainier and exploring new places on the mountain and then coming back to this luxurious cabin. What a great relaxing vacation!!!

“Copper Creek - Wonderful!!!”

My niece and I were detained on our itinerary while driving to Mount Rainier and did not get to the visitor center till after 10pm - the park was closed, too dark to drive the spooky roads!! We were stranded with nowhere to stay. Luckily, the Copper Kettle still had their lites on and gave us a room! I cant tell you how wonderful the staff was, how absolutely comfortable the room was and how delicious the breakfast was the next morning. This is a gem of a place to lay your head and fill your stomach! And to be so close to mount rainier is a definite plus. Highly recommend!

“Great wedding setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011 via mobile

Stayed here in three nights in July for a cousin's wedding. My family and I shared the 2 bedrooms and loft log cabin with my brother's family (8 people) the cabin was very spacious and luxurious (in a rustic sort of way) with ridiculously comfortable beds. my one major complaint was that no one cleaned the rooms.

The hotel provided a great setting for the wedding. The huge lawns were great for the photo shoots and the wedding party. That was the only time I have ever roasted marshmallows while wearing a suit!

This is a very good hotel. I will stay here again should the opportunity present itself

“Nice, Quaint, Rustic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

This review is only for Frenchies Suite, which is one room available at this hotel. The suite is located directly above the restuarant but you'd never really know it except once they turned on an exhast fan and the whole apartment shook like the space shuttle taking off. The room arangement and check-in, check-out procedures are very strange. The suite has two ways in, one through a hall and the other from an outside deck, but can only enter through the hall as they don't give you a key for the outside entrance. The entry into the room is with a 4 digit push button lock. After you book your room you get an e-mail as to how to check in, you never speak with anyone before or after checking in or out...odd. You just leave when your time is up...the e-mail instructions said to retrieve a room key from a locked box near the entrance to the room, this box was to be opened wiht a 4 digit key. We looked for about 20 minutes and couldn't figure out what they meant. It was like going goecaching. We finally gave up and asked a waitress in the restuarant. She told us the 4 digit key we had was to open the door locks not for a box to retrieve a key. They really need to change their e-mail intructions. They also give you a code for the wi-fi which was another oddity. It worked fine but I couldn't get into any secured websites like logging on to my Amazon.com account. Have no idea what that was all about but the same computer worked well at all the other hotels we stayed at. One thing they really need to work on is getting cable or satellite service in the room. It would be nice to get news and weather. The TV is only for playing DVD's and VHS tapes (yes, those VHS tapes!). They actually have an iHome in the room to charge and play your iPod but no TV service??? The outside of the place is very grown over and gives a very bad impression of the place when you first get there, it looks completely unmaintained. I guess it's all part of the rustic look. The beds are HUGE, and fluffy comfortable. No AC either. The restuarant downstairs is top notch, a little pricey, but the service and food is great. Make reservations for dinner though, it's small and fills up fast.

Room Tip: Don't expect the Hilton, it's like being in a cabin with electricity.
