We have been to this area a number of times and dont think you can beat it for location and value. Yes, you need to walk uphill or take a taxi up to the SHR but the view of the surrounding mountains and the magnificant sunsets make it so worth while.
We had a great two weeks here and met some really friendly people including the owner and most of the staff. Overall, it was pretty quiet as the season was coming to an end, but that suited us fine...peace, perfect peace. We have no compaints whatsoever about the food.The chef made an effort for people who liked western dishes but Turkish food is amazing and very healthy and thats mostly what was served for evening meals. 3 Cheers on Ovacik main st is definitely the best Turkish restaurant in the area though and gets top marks all round ,every time we visit :-))
Back to SHR - the reason we gave an average score for 'service' is because the bar staff should have been much more attentive to customers.Similarly, we would have scored 'excellent' for cleanliness as rooms, stairway and pool area were spotless. However, bar staff didnt clean the tables round the bar and it was noticable ! We would go back to SHR but really hope the manager cracks his whip a bit more next season and makes sure his bar staff work as hard as those in other hotels we have stayed in.

I would like to start by putting a few people right about this Hotel , we arrived in the middle of the night about 5am ,we were shown to our room unpacked and got some sleep we were up for Breakfast ,Cornflakes ,toast and boiled eggs, scambled eggs,or Salad tea or coffee,we went for a walk around pool and hotel and had a look at the Tortoise on a little island in the middle the two pools everybody was so friendly,we got our towels and started sunbathing in was so hot had a few drinks , Dinner time, Salad ,pasta ,sometimes Turkish food ,different selection most days,Teatime ,soup chicken,fish, spagetti,a lot of Vegetarian food ,chips meatballs (also freshly cooked pancakes at 4 oclock sometime cake and tea or coffee) we never went hungry as there was something for everyone, the bar staff were very friendly and the owner made us laugh and feel welcome finding time to sit with us in the evening and play pool with everyone ,the rooms are basic but very clean and plenty of clean towels.location is in the middle of olu denis and Fethiye there are plenty of buses to either town and a free bus to private beach at olu denis

Rest went to cheer! We went to two families and two children, 7 and 12 years. Permit cost for two adults and a child 12 years 2 weeks 45 thousand rubles. For the money it was good. I agree to the airport an hour to go 3 and tiring. We arrived at 12pm, settled at once! Rooms on the 5th floor, overlooking the sea! The territory is really small, but we're not fans of big clubs hotels, we are happy with it. A day went on tour (Pirate yacht! Advise anyone with children grade!, White water rafting - great! Dilfinary not, a water park would not advise), I agree, actually little bit poor breakfast, lunch and dinner, but it is. Bassin afternoon was very warm, went to sea! The hotel is more suitable for couples. Although the youth was enough, We were pleased with rest!

we got back on sunday morning at 1am after 2 great weeks at sunshine holiday resort hotel, i do not know what some people want, we went b&b, because i do not like any foreign food, the hotel, owner, staff were great, we had people moaning, they need to get a life, my wife & i have been there 3 times & we will be going back. thanks to all at the hotel for making our stay brill. once we have down loaded photos we will let people see how nice the place is.
