Just back from 2 amazin weeks at the palm garden apartments,rooms are brilliant,maids do a grt job pool & slides grt for adults lol!! & kids. food is 5* & prices are grt,NO hassle at all to eat or drink at apartments like others have said,staff would even wish us a nice evening as we were going out the gate,party nights are good nights,don't miss them,grt entertainment!!!! service is fabulous,big mention to Ali,Sebastian,shain,yoshi,ozzy,mehmet & mevlut.NOTHING is too much trouble for them,they treated us like kings & queens whole time we were there.We,ll def b recommending PALM GARDEN to all our friends & have already booked again for next year,thanks so much for an amazin holiday,staff were grt & met some grt people while we were there.Location is perfect only 2 min walk to town centre,& Market day on wed is grt!!Dont book trips with ur rep,(that's if ur lucky enough to meet her)much cheaper on street,grt shops & bargains to be had.THANKS AGAIN PALM GARDEN!!!Lisa,Peter & Luca room 212 xxxx

Heres our thoughts on a hotel that is simply one in a million,

THE HOTEL - The Palm Gardens is well situated just a 2 minute walk from the main road in Icmeler, but far enough that it is nice and peaceful to enjoy those quite days at the pool. We arrived at the hotel 2am in the morning and we were met by Sebastian (One of the Owners) at reception, we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, we were checked in quickly and our bags were taken straight up to our rooms. We stayed in room 201 it had 2 sofa beds in the living area, in the kitchen area there is everything you need if you are doing a self catering holiday, our bathroom was a good size with bath / shower etc and the bedroom has a double bed, good size wardrobe with built in safe (the safe costs £10 per week but well worth the money) and there is an air conditioning in the bedroom which cost £35 per week, (both the safe and air conditioning are optional) , the room was cleaned by the 3 polite ladies everyday and we got clean towels, our room was next to the bar area and we were never bothered by noise at anytime. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds for everyone, it has a large swimming pool, a small kids pool which my nephew loved, there is also 2 water slides which the kids and adults loved, they are switched on 2 times a day for 2 hours but sometimes when the pool was busy they left them on all day, the staff clean and wash the pool area every night.

THE RESTAURANT AND BAR AREA - On a Saturday night they have a BBQ night it is £10 per adult and £5 per child this includes the fantastic buffet meal and entertainment, they also do a Show night on a Wednesday night as well which is also very good value for money. The bar prices in the hotel are much and such the same as you will find down the main street, the food in the hotel is very tasty, lots of choice (steak, pasta, chicken, pizza etc) and good value for money, you can get a steak and chips for £9. In the bar area there is a pool table, 3 x pc with internet and there is WIFI in the bar/Restaurant area.

THE STAFF - From the minute we arrived until the minute we left the staff made us feel like the Palm Gaden Apartments was our home from home, Sebastian and Ali the Owners are very helpful and friendly and nothing is a problem for them, they will do anything they can to make sure your holiday is one that you will never forget. we were staying at the hotel with my mum, dad, sister, brother in law and nephew, my brother and his wife booked later and had to stay at another hotel, they were told on day one by Ali that they were welcome to come and use the facilities at our hotel when ever they wanted, on day 5 of our holiday Ali told my brother to go to the other hotel and collect his cases and he moved them into a room at our hotel. One night we got speaking to Sebastian about one of our favourite subjects fishing, I told him that some of my family wanted to do some sea fishing in Turkey, within 5 minutes he went and made some calls and it was all sorted, there was 4 of us went + Sebastian and it cost us £85 in total between us to hire the boat with skipper and fishing tackle for the day, this is well recomended for the fishermen in the family. The staff in the restaurant / Bar are Young Ali, Shain, Yoshi, Ozzi Memet and Mezi, these guys work longer hours they are there morning, noon and night the service levels that these guy provide are 2nd to none well done guys keep up the good work.

THE RESORT - Icmeler is a beautiful quiet town with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars etc something for everyone, there is plenty of ticket booths in the resort selling the days out it is advisable to shop around for your trip as with most things in Turkey you can haggle for these too.

This was our first time to the Palm Garden Apartments and to Turkey,but it wont be our last we will definetly be back, we normally holiday in Florida as the service you get there is exceptional, I can honestly say that the service you get at the Palm Gardens is up there with the best. Thank you Ali, Sebatian and All your staff for every thing you did for us and for making this one of our best holidays yet, keep up the good work and see you next year.

The McDonalds Room 201 ( and 212 for billing purposes)

We have just arrived home from two weeks holiday in the palm gardens and can honestly say that it is pure heaven. how can anyone find any fault with this place some of the comments made by other people reviewing this complex are nothing but LIES. firstly you will find when booking this complex that it is a FAMILY orinitated hotel complex if you want peace and quite DONT BOOK HERE i mean get a grip do you expect children to play beside the pool area and be quite I DONT THINK SO. you will find that parents can take there children on holiday when ever they feel like it. it is called HALF TERM BREAK.

Yes there is only one gate in and out WHICH IS NEVER PATROLED by the staff. in the 2 weeks we stayed we were never forced to stay and eat at any point. this comment again is lies did you not get any hassle when you walked out and about to come in for food to any restarants icmeler i bet you did. the hotel has every right to try and promote the restarant as much as any other resterant you will find in icmeler.

the staff cant do enough for you we felt like we had know them all for years they would come and sit and chat with you every day you could never walk past any of them without them saying hello or taking the time to speak to you. a speacial mention to the management team alli and sabastiain who bent over backwards to ensure we had a great time in turkey. i was badly bitten when i was on holiday and alli took us to the chemist to ensure that i got the best possible medical advise. he was also good enough to taxi my parents about to subastian also organised a great day out for us to the managment and the team cant do enough for and WERE NEVER AT ANY POINT RUDE OR PUSHEY.

the complex is modern and tidy ideally situated for every thing you need rooms are clean and spacious clean linen and bedding everyday BET YOU DONT GET THAT AT HOME.

all in all we had an amasing time so much so we have just booked for next year and the count down is on cant wait look forward to seeing you all again Dave & Lynn McDonald roon 102

We've been to Palm Garden every year since it opened, 7years. It really is a great resort, the apartments are spacious and well equiped and cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen. Ali, the owner, hand picks all the staff, who are always polite and attentive. Special mentions should go to Ali's brother Seb, his nephew Ibo, the Head Waiter Young Ali, and of course Yoshie, Ozzie and new boy, Sahin. Ali always manages to get a top chef, and the food served at Palm Garden is as good, or better, than anything we've had in Turkey!!!
The location of Palm Garden puts it in easy reach of the town centre, the beach and the old town.
The pool area is great, and kept immaculate.
The only problem that we came across was the noise made by some of the chidren ( how do so many people manage to take their children out of school, in term time??? ). I know that we're a couple of old fogies, but we don't mind the kid's shrieks of enjoyment, but a few of the children SCREAMED incessantly this year. It upset us, and quite a few other guests, so much that we will have to give serious thought about returning next year. Pity they can't make it adults only from mid September eh??
Anyway, that issue aside, Palm Garden comes highly recommended by us both, well done to Ali and his crew!!
