“Best Holiday EVER!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 May 2012 NEW

I visited this hotel with my family in May this year, our party consisted of my wife and I, our 2 children aged 14 and 12, and my mother-in-law, we booked a 2 bedroomed family suite, we arrived at around 10.30pm on the 12th of May, we were shown to our room which was number 1105 overlooking the pool on the ground floor, the room was fantastic, having the 2 bathrooms makes all the differenceas there is no waiting at shower time, lovely comfy beds and even sky sports on the plasma TV!!!
The hotel was very quiet when we arrived as there were only about 8 families there, as a result the entertainment was a bit thin on the ground for our first week, however this was understandable as it wasnt really feasible to have shows put on for so few guests, however by the second week the hotel was getting busy and the entertainment started, typical fare really belly dancing , fire eating, we saw a fantastic dance act called "The Dream Girls" they were brilliant, but the atmosphere in the bar area was always good, plenty of Efes and cocktails flowing, and Hakan and his bar team really do go the extra mile for you, make you feel like family, which is why people keep coming back, perfect customer service!!
The food on offer was simply outstanding, normally all inclusive means cold tired buffet food, not here, you pick a meal from the extensive menu, and every single meal i had was fantastic.
The swimming pools were always really clean and the slides were great for the kids.
The hotel is really well laid out, not too big and although you are a little way out of Icmeler, the fact that the dolmus is 50 yards away and costs less than a pound, you really do have the best of both worlds, Icmeler is a very nice llittle town, plenty of bargains and lots of good bars.
The reason we found this hotel to be soo good for our family was the way we were looked after by all the staff, Hakan and his bar team, Sinan the photographer was always on hand for a chat and his photographs are fantastic, great price and great results, he took some beautiful shots of our family.
I had both a turkish bath and a massage in the spa and I must say that Muhammet is a genuis, fantastic service and such a nice guy too.
As we left for our journey home, we were seen off by a few of the guys and it felt like we were leaving family behind, it is really is as good as the reviews you read, my wife and i are already booking to return in August and we are returning with all the family in May next year.
So thank you to Deniz and the team, you really made our holiday really special.
If you havent been to this hotel, my advice is YOU MUST TRY THIS HOTEL!!!!

“Now I see why everyone keeps going back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 May 2012

We stayed at Julian Forest Suites for 2 weeks and were very impressed with what we saw.
The rooms were big and clean, unlike some 5 star hotels in Turkey, it actually had a plasma tv in the room (we previously stayed in a 5 star hotel in Bodrum that had a 14" CRT TV), nice comfortable furniture in the sitting room, a good sized bedroom and a very clean bathroom.

The bath itself was slightly small but most people only have showers in Turkey anyway (we had a bath and shower) and why should you waste time relaxing in the bath, when there's a brilliant bar and restaurant downstairs with staff that treat you like family.

One of the best features about this hotel is actually the amazing food, which was better than expected and is of a higher standard than the local restaurants, which are mostly overpriced anyway to cater for the tourists.
We literally ate like royalty at the hotel, we had 3-4 course meals in the evening with lots of choice in Mexican, Turkish, British, Indian, Italian, Chinese and fresh fish caught that very day and even steak offered as part of the all inclusive....I have never seen that at an all inclusive.

We went on a few excursions and people were complaining that their all inclusive 4 star hotels were offering terrible food with boiled eggs being runny, little choice in meals and they were complaining that the quality of the food was so bad, they've started eating out, which reassured me that we made the right choice with this hotel.
They also complained that the all inclusive local drinks DIDN'T include local drinks such as Efes, whereas this hotel does, as well as Brandy, Vodka, raki, beer, cocktails, liquers, wine, soft drinks etc.

Regarding the staff, well, what more could I say other than they were amazing, I even told them that if I ever decide to launch a hotel, I'm taking their staff with me haha.
Hakan is literally one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, this guy will do anything to make you happy and has very high standards in all aspects.
Vahit was unbelievable, he made sure we were always happy and even filleted our fish and cut the fishes head off personally because we couldn't face seeing the fishes face.
Mevlut was also helpful and made sure the staff that are on work experience were on top of their game, as the hotel has high standards to maintain.
Berrin gave us a lot of helpful tips on where to shop to snag some bargains and even asked the chefs and barstaff to make us food and drinks that wasn't on the menu to keep us happy.
There is a lot of other great staff too including Zek, Goktai, Arda, Emma (and others but I can't remember all there names right now but they all made a great impression) and we had to make a quick exit to make sure the goodbyes weren't too emotional.

We also made some friends with the other guests and whoever we spoke to said they can't wait to come back next year, some of them said they were even going to save up, so they can visit Julian Forests again during the same summer, while some other guests have said they've been coming every year and refuse to go elsewhere.

I always thought that was ridiculous, as there's a big world out there to see and I've never been to a hotel abroad at below 5 star status but I would honestly come here again and hope to see all the same faces.

In my opinion, this hotel should be the only choice if you're visiting Icmeler or Marmaris and even though we were only going near this area to visit Olu Deniz, we never quite made it there because we were too happy to be at this hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms seem great, the swimming pool view is closer to the bar, so is slightly noisier but you co...

“Great Place but too far out”

We stayed here in Sept 2010 and was pleasently pleased with this hotel. We did not have any complaints except the price of the food and drink was expensive. The bar was only ever half full when the happy hour was on.

Also whislt staying in Sept we soon relised that this was the month the wasps/bees came down form the pine moutains to die so of course there was loads, plenty of people were stung. so if you travel in Sept i would recomend taking a fly squater!

You can get a dolimus straight from outside the hotel that takes you straight down to the front where all the main bars and resturants are.

All in all a very pleasent holiday and would go back but not in September.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms as they all have either a moutain view or a pool view

“Perfect holiday, just AWESOME :-)”

We have just come back and have already booked again for next year! i really really cant fault this hotel or the staff in anyway whatsoever.
We arrived at midnight and they even kept the bar open for us and provided us with food even htough it was outseide of service times,.

all of the staff make you feel truely welcomed and at home and cant do enough for you, not once did we ever experience any rudeness or even see a grumpy face. we booked all inclusive and we loved the food as it is all served from the a la carte menu with an awful lot of choice, you do have to order fresh fish a day in advance though, hot and cold snacks, ice cream and high tea and pastries are all included as well and the portions are really generous too :-)

we had a wonderful 2 bedroom family suite with a massive balcony overlooking the pool, this is beautiful and airy, the masterbedroom also has a en suite full bathroom as well and there is no charge for air condiditoning either. the rooms were cleaned and towels replaced everyday and the hotel even provide free pool towels so no need to take your own,

this really is a beautiful hotel and the back drop of the mountains is just a perfect location and makes it feel very relaxed and eco-friendly, the dolmus terminus is just at the bottom of the road from the hotel so you can always get into the centre of icmeler easily and they run every 15 mins, the hotel also has its own courtesy bus to the beach.
the onsite mini market is handy for any essentials and to be honest the person that said it was too expensive really needs to get out a bit more! this is turkey nothign is expensive but just remeber they have a business to run also!
the card system is brilliant so you never need to carry any cash around the resort you just add credit to your wristband if you want anythign that isnt included on the All Inclusive concept (which isnt much)
woudld really like to say thank you to Deniz in particular for being an amazing host and running the hotel so beautifully and always having time to stop and chat, Emma, who does an amazing job of running the kids club - we loved the fact ( and the kids) that the kids club runs from 9pm-11pm also in the evening so you can enjoy a drink while the kids are occupied
hakan, vahit and mulvut who do a fantastic job at meal service and also kaddir and zek and alf who run the bar so well and again always have time to make you feel welcomed.

overall, if you like a hotel with lots of htings to do, nice decent quality food and things to do for the kids ( as well as the waterslides) but dont want the hassle of being in the centre with everything in your face this is perfect for you we loved it and we are going back again next year

Room Tip: Pool View rooms are lovely to and you can feel part of the action without having to be involved
