“Turgay is great!!”

Just returned from 2 weeks at Turgay. Had wonderful time. Apartments really clean and bright and airy. Pool area good with plenty of sunbeds although water deep all over. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food served in restaurant reasonably priced and good. Maid is excellent changing linen/beds etc every 3rd day and keeping apartment spotless with beautiful towel creations left on beds. Facilities good witha lovely large walk in shower and continuous hot water on supply. You need to take scourer, tea towel, sharp bread knife though. Only get 2 toilet rolls and have to buy rest but very cheap in local supermarket. Area is delightful, very beautiful with about a 10 min walk to main street where you can hop on a dolmus on take a water taxi to Marmaris. Water is warm and clean on beach and shallow. Loads of sunbeds for cheap day rate too. Fantastic local restaurants offering lovely food often on a special and very reasonable rate. The mud bath trip was excellent value with a river trip, time on beach and loggerhead turtles, as well as the option to eat freshly caught crab. We had a great day. Turkish bath near Marmaris also excellent and very enjoyable and cheap. Weather was hot despite being end sept with only one thunder storm for a couple of hours. Nights were warm but not too hot so didn't need air con. Also exchange rate in local restaurants very high - the Wembley being the best in Icmeler. Plan to return next year as one of the best holidays ever both location and apartment. No complaints at all!

Room Tip: All rooms good but if on ground floor probably need to close balcony doors when out but by being on...

“Simply Perfect”

This was our 1st time in Turkey and we didnt know what to expect but as soon as we arrived at the Turgay and met Kadir we quickly realised that these apartments were our cup of tea. (Turkish tea actually every morning) We booked the 2 bedroomed apartment as there were 3 adults and it was extremly spacious, spotlessly clean, lovely compfy beds, with lots of storage and a large balcony over looking the beautiful pool and mountains. There are only 19 apartments altogether and this made it more personal as you quickly got to know everyone in the complex.
Josh & Kadir were perfect hosts, working long hours but always with a smile on their faces.
Mr & Mrs Turgay didnt speak much english but they made up for this with their exceptional cooking.
The Turkish night was brilliant and a right giggle, it was my husbands 60th birthday and they really made the evening special for us all, even providing a birthday cake which they wouldn't let me pay for. How Mr & Mrs Turgay fed all of us with such wonderful food is unbeliveable and the cost was only £10 each.
If you go to these apartments and want to go on any trips it is well worth asking Josh or Kadir for their recomendations not the REP. We were so glad we did this as the boat trip with a cousin of Josh was a great full day out with a lovely lunch for only 20TL, they even picked us up from the apartments in a taxi to take us to the boat. We also wanted a Turkish bath which Kadir arranged for us, again we were picked up and taken to a really nice private spa within Icmeler which was the perfect start to the holiday.
Icmeler is a beatiful clean and safe resort that can be as lively or as quiet as you want it to be, so something for every age group.
I reaaly cant add much more to the other favourable comments below other than to say just go, enjoy and relax.
We are just about to book again for next year and cant wait.
Thank you so much Kadir, Josh and family, see you next year and remember the Lemon & Limes for my Gin & Tonic. XXXX

“Amazing Holiday - Must go here”

Me and my partner stayed here for two weeks 8-22 September and did not want to come home. The apartments themselves are always kept spotlessly clean by maids and cant fault them at all. All apartments have balconies which is a lovely touch to sit out on the morning or before go out on evening. The staff Josh, Kadir and his mum and dad who own the place cant do enough for you and are always there to look after you especially when they had to get more becks in as matt had drank them all. We always mets lots of friends. Just a small walk to resort and beach. Would defintely recommend this hotel and we will be back!!!

We stayed at Turgay apartments for a week. The apartment had every thing we needed and was kept spotless by Aisha. Josh and Kadir were so helpful and we met some great people staying there. We had such a relaxing holiday that we are planning to return in 2012. Can't wait!
