We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel overall we had a great time here which some was down to a great bar man Ferdi (we nicknamed him Freddi) very cheeky and smiling all the time!! The food I found to be very much the same and I struggled although part of our group enjoyed the food. The entertainment is not very good though they do try , the shows on an evening were too short . There seemed to be a lot of Russians staying here which we found them to be very ignorant . This hotel I would reccomend to people with small children (we had an 18 year old in our group who was bored most of the time) and the older end who want a quiet holiday. The rooms are as noted in previous reviews better within the hotel rather than the family villas (these are clean but do need refurbishing). If you like to get out and about within good walking distances to both icmeler and marmaris.

Took our grandaughter 9 years old to this hotel she absolutely loved it. Plenty of entertainment for children. Staff were very good and very helpful as we were also with my sister in law and were put in rooms miles apart but the staff in reception realised this themselves and changed our room to one that had seperate bits to it so sister could have her own bit but could join with the rest of us if she wanted to.Food was very nice and varied. Actually nothing I could complain about we all enjoyed it

Have stayed at the Palace twice 2009/2011.What an excellent hotel.Over the 2 visits the entertainment team have changed somewhat but there will still some familiar faces.Quite or loud you can have both at this hotel.The food was lovely and very varied,the only let down was some of the drinks(but i'm only thinking about the quality you would get from more expensive hotels in Lara Beach Antalya)where you pay alot more for your trip.Plenty to do by just turning left or right out of the hotel along the beach.Boat trips by jimmy from next doors hotel and very cheap turkish Bath deals in Icmeler about 20 min walk.At front of hotel you have Taxis or local bus Dolmus which are both very cheap but be warned if not seated hang on tight.Marmaris is huge so just stuck to the marina area and Bazzar.Plenty of Bargains at the various Markets in Marmaris and Icmeler.My only let down in 2011 was the service of thomas cook Rep in resort abit lame(because i wasn't buying any trips)but hey I remember my first holiday to Tenerife way back and the reps patter is just the same.time for these companies to start taking notice of them questionnaires they keep handing out on the flight home(yes them ones when you've not got a pen to fill them in)!!! so all in all just give it a try lay back in the sea and forget work and let Speedy pester you for drinks he is very very keen and an asset to the Palace

We stayed at this hotel from 28th April till 5th of May. We really enjoyed our stay.the staff was very friendly, the food was great and the entertainment was fantastic. Almost all of the staff speaks realy good english, what makes it easyer to communicate whet the guests. Our kids had a really great time in the pools and playing all of the games at the resort. There are trees all over the resort, including near the pool. Perfect when you don't want to sit in the sun all the time. Outside of the resort you can visit Marmaris or Icmeler in only a few minutes busride or boattaxi. Also you can make a ride on a boatbike and enjoy a great view. I recomment Marmaris Palace to everyone whit or whitout childeren.
