Just returned from Icmeler. We booked our entire package through ICR Travel- IcmelerOnline, flights, transfers and apartments. A very professional company who you can ring and talk over any problems or apprehensions you may have.
The transfer was comfortable and quick (no commission stop) and the Iguana apartments were all that we had been led to believe. Beautifully furnished, spotless and centrally located.
The Iguana Deluxe are duplex apartments and we had booked a 1 bed (2 bed being fully booked). We were assured by Sharon of ICR Travel- IcmelerOnline that the apartment was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 boys(17 and 14)and indeed it was. The bedroom was really spacious with its own on suite, whilst the boys had a fold down sofa and fold up bed downstairs. They also had their own bathroom which was a godsend.
The kitchen was fully equipped and a microwave and washing machine (payable on a weekly basis) was also included.
The apartment was spotless and cleaned 6 times per week, beds changed every 3 days.
Donna and Michelle of ICR Travel- IcmelerOnline were situated next door and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
We booked the boat trip and jeep safari through ICR, and they were even better than last years trips.
We would recommend the Iguana Deluxe and ICR Travel- IcmelerOnline to anyone. Thanks for a brilliant holiday.

Stayed in Iguana a number of times in the past few years. Good location in the centre of Icmeler. Nice apartments, well equipped. Booked through Icmeler Online - also used a number of times over past 7 years.

The write up on Icmeler on line website on these apartments led us to believe that they were the best they had..that they were luxurious and newly re furbished....not so.....we arrived at 6am and were shown into the apartments and the look on our faces must have said it all. The smell was the first think to hit you...(.apparently they have been having problems with their drains for some years now. )

People with mobility problems should avoid these apartments like the plague...

The apartments are reached by 3 sets of stairs, then there was an internal spiral staircase inside the apt. which led up to a bedroom and then 3 steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom......(ALMOST A HIGH RISE FLAT)

When we opened the front door in the morning, we were actually only 5ft from the desk of the girls who work for Icmeler on line in their offices.!!

We have used Icmeler on line for travel, transfers and accommodation before, so we knew that they would not make a problem of us moving and, they did'nt. We moved to the Captain Silver apartments where we had been the year before and thoroughly enjoyed it..(see my review from last year, and this year)...........

I understand that the Iguana Apartments are up for sale...good.......

We booked our holiday to the Iguana Deluxe apartments through icmeleronline.com who also provided us with the airport transfare from Dalaman which took one and an half hours.

We have stopped in these apartments about four times now.
They are centraly situated in the main square of Icmeler were the ATM machines are.
There are 10 one or two bedded apartments of a duplex design with either a pool or street view,we stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment this time overlooking the square.
The floors are joind by a spiral staircase from the living area to the main bedroom.
Facilities in the kitchen area are the normal self catering facilities for 4 people, fridge,kettle cooking hob,toaster,but had the added luxury of a microwave and a washing machine (a charge is made for this) you also have the use of an iron and ironing board on request.
The shower and toilet areas of which there are two one on each floor also provided an hairdryer.
The living room that also doubles as a sleeping area for two people when the settee is transformed into a bed also has a t.v with satellite.

The apartments have the use of the Antiks Restaurents bar and pool that is situated next door.
We had free use of sunbeds, pool table and internet access.
The restaurent serves very nice food and is inexpensive.
