“dnot believe the reveiws”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2009

after reading all the reveiws we were feeling a little bit worried ubout going to this hotel but after going to this resort for 7 years a change might not hurt from the usual hotel as we couldnt get booked in at our normal place.flight on the turkish airline was a joke as several people were given seats that didnt exist and had to stand until all passengers were aboard to get a spare seat, airstewardess were rude and unpleasant to anyone not turkish, arrived at the hotel after the usual trip was suprised to go through the mountain tunnel and not around, the greeting at hotel was pleasant and friendly even if it was in the early hours of the morning.room was very spacios and clean, hair dryer could blow your brains out so strong so wife couldnt complain, son and his fiancee had to change their room as it was a bit mite on the small side but this was done quickly enough with no probs, food was one could expect in turkey so if you want eggs bacon and fried sausages stay at home and visit greasey joes dont come to turkey and expect to get english food,on that though vist the town for a really cheap english breakfast for 1.99,entertainment was a little bit tired but having free drinks makes it a bit more entertaining, book your trips in town for example a trip to the mud baths with the courier would cost £30 but if you book it with the locals in town costs only £14 and you get exactly the same deal, the location is fantastic as it was only a 5 minute walk into town,i dont know why people say the barman was rude perhaps it could be that they treated him as a slave and not as a friend, treat these people with the respect they deserve and you will get a service you will crow about to your friends, the barman called jj could nt do enough for us.if you come to turkey expecting 5* hotels and english food you will be disappointed, treat every day as a new experience and you will go home wanting to go back on the next plane.

“Value for money, very accommodating, had a fantastic time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 October 2009

When booking this holiday it was booked prior reading the reviews. Once I had read some the reviews I was rather nervous as some were concerning. I appreciate I paid for a cheap holiday and you get what you pay for but actually I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a standard twin room to myself which was clean and spacious compared to the size of rooms within the UK, the pool area was very clean, and the restaurant overlooked then pool. The food bearing in mind what I paid for the hotel was fantastic. There was always a choice of 3 hot meals and a large selection of salads and cooked well. The facilities there such as the gym are very basic, so is the turkish bar area, but perfectly clean to the point I used 4 times within my one week stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, even when there is a language barrier they will point you in the right direction of someone who can help. I have to say a huge thank you to the guy who did the massages as I hurt my leg while there and he spent several sessions on my leg at no extra charge. The entertainment staff and bar staff were fantastic, again very friendly and went out of there way to ensure you had a good time and try to get you to join in. What I especially liked about this hotel is it's not huge and all the staff and holiday makers all got to know each other and socialise together.
Location is great if you want to be a 5 minute walk from the centre of town which was perfect for me. Hisaronu is a great town lots to do and a lot to see.
I would definite recommend this hotel to other couples as well as families.
Unfortunately nowadays we live in a world where people want something for nothing and you will never please everybody. We forget when going aboard we enter there culture its not suppose to be our own . If you want Burger King or Maccy D, stay in England, if you want to experience something else then go to Turkey. I had a fantastic time

“great value for money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2009

After reading all the bad reviews I was a bit scared about what to expect. We arrived around half 7am to a boy on reception who didn't speak much English but he got someone to help carry our suitcases to our rooms. Our first rooms weren't the best - ours was damp and my mum had one small room for 2 adults and 2 children. We had breakfast which was good - i like toast in the morning and their was a grill to cook fresh bread on. One the first day we sat round the pool which I have to say was one of the cleaning pools I have seen. We went to reception to see if there were any better rooms available and before we even mentioned we wanted a new room, the manager said he had two rooms for us available at 2pm that day so I assume we were just put in the first rooms temporaily while they were waiting for people to check out. The second rooms we got we couldn't really fault! All the food in the hotel was nice and hot - lots of chicken, salad, rice and even bbq one day. Always something different to eat everyday. The alcohol was fine apart from the red wine was cold. We really couldn't work out how the hotel made any money as it was approx. £10 a day each all-inclusive - thats the room, food and drink! I had a great holiday and would definately go back but not to merriment as they won't be doing all inclusive again, I expect this is probably due to not making any money. All the staff were polite and rooms were cleaned daily. I would recommend this holiday if you are wanting a basic, cheap holiday and prepared to make your own fun. Hisaronu itself is amazing - I wish I was back there! The weather was amazing for the last week in September. We went out of the hotel quite a bit for trips and to visit our family in another hotel and would recommend doing this as everything is so cheap. The entertainment in hotel was ok but we went out quite a bit as there is so much to do.
