Me and my boyfriend stayed here in early October 2011.
Originally booked in for the Marcan, (prenonced 'Marjan') the hotel's sister across the road. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find we were booked in for the slightly better looking Telmessos.

We had been recommended this hotel and location by friends and so we knew to expect a very good, cheap, clean no thrills hotel for the money you pay and we weren't disappointed.

The hotel sits at the top of a steep hill so therefore I wouldn't recommend this hotel for older people or people with mobility issues. Aside from that, the location couldn't be better. Less than a five minute walk away is the main road of Hisaronu, where you will find an array of restaurants to keep you satisfied for very good prices. (We ate like kings everyday on a low budget) On the main road there's a regular bus service that takes you into Fethiye, and Olu Deniz.

Positives- Staff are helpful and friendly, especially the cleaning and bar staff. Beautifully, well maintained hotel. Food is of a good standard, keep in mind breakfast is basic as is expected with Turkish Breakfasts. Excellent location. The hotel dog, Deco :)

Negatives - the bars do stay open to the early hours, but apart from one occasion they turned the music down as it got later. However we didn't pay for air con as it is extra so our balcony door and windows were kept open and we could still hear it. Didn't keep us up though the heat did!

Would deffo go again, lovely place, would reccomend to anyone.

Myself & my partner would defiantly return to this Hotel, We had an Amazing time here. The location of the hotel from the Main Street is literally 5 Minutes away from the hotel, so if you don’t like or Cannot walk too far, This hotel is perfect!
The Turkish BBQ Night around the pool area was so good, The atmosphere was brilliant!
The Bar staff are really friendly & help you with anything.
The Pool is quite a decent size & there are plenty of sun loungers to pick from.
Also the Wildlife is great, We saw Hogs, Turtles & Plenty of Lizards & Birds. Beautiful Creatures.

The only problem we had was the Cleaners didn’t clean our room for two days, but we told the guys at the Reception & it got cleaned that day :)

People on here always complain about how loud the Music is, Its a Holiday resort of course there is going to be music until late, Don’t fault it on the music!

And last but not least, The View! Well what a view we had overlooking the Main Street & all the Mountains! :) This was especially nice when we had the Hotels Photographer snap some shots of us.. They came out Beautiful!

Overall - FANTASTIC!! Would Defiantly return..

Firstly I would like to start by saying, like most of you, I read through a lot of reviews before going on holiday. It's helpful to get other people's opinions on where you're about to be staying for the next week or two. We read some great reviews and a lot of not so good reviews. And of course, its the bad ones that stick in your head.

I am 24 and I went on holiday with my girlfriend to this hotel. We were nervous to say the least. On arrival we went to reception, filled in a form and a nice guy took our bags to our room. Good start! We went out for a few drinks and came back to the hotel to.... SILENCE! We expected there to be a party with loud music blaring (which we wouldn't have really minded because we are young after all) until 3am. This was not the case. We had a great sleep.

We woke up the next day and went to the pool which is brilliant btw. It's clean and full of laughter. The bar serves up a decent lunch menu and drinks. We got a sun lounger pretty easily and lay back and listened to the bar music which featured a lot of UB40 and Queen. Result! Queen are my favourite band of all time!

Anyway, to cut a long story short. We loved this hotel. The staff could not do enough for you. I mean, these guys work their as* off. They work from the moment the pool opens right up until the bar closes. I couldn't speak highly enough of them. There isn't this rediculously loud music playing till 3am either.

The rooms were clean and big enough. You did have to put your key in to reception if you wanted your room cleaned BUT that didn't really matter. You were out by the pool most of the day anyway.

The only thing we disliked about coming to Hisaronu was the traders on the main strip. They just don't leave you alone. But to be honest, we should have expected that anyway. We were in a holiday resort and they have to make a living. We did manage to work out that if you walk on the middle of the road, you wouldn't get hassled so much. The road gets closed to traffic at night.

I would recommend going to a bar called Tropical Karaoke Bar at the bottom of the road from the hotel. It is a great place to go whether you are with family, friends or your partner. It really is for everyone and what's more, Efes lager is only 4TL! They also do buy one cocktail and get another one free for 10TL. The staff here are great aswell. They want people to have a great time so I would encourage you to let your hair down here.

There are so many places to eat in Hisaronu. You could stuff your face for as little as £6! I would recommend going to Shine. It's an indian restaurant, again, down the road from the hotel. The food was delicious! We did use the hotel restaurant once. It was nice enough but we prefered to eat outside and try different places.

So to sum up. The best advice i'd give is to look at everyone's reviews because everyone does have different experiences. However, some people do expect too much when they travel to hotels especially hotels with low ratings. Your holiday is what you make it. You can pick up on little things and let it ruin your holiday or like me, be more open minded and enjoy your holiday and make it as fun as you can. I personally think 2 stars for this hotel does the hotel and their staff an injustice. They are a great bunch of people and try to make your holiday experience the best it can be.

As for the resort itself and local people? An absolute pleasure to be around!

Dont Go Here!!!!

I am not fussy about staying somewhere but when you cant ever sleep even with ear plugs in because of the bar music until 3-4am ! The surrounding area is nice and we went on some good trips. We complained on the music but the rep said no matter how much they complained they continued to play it so loud!!! Dont bother with their turkish night it is a rip off we saw what they got and it was pure rubbish! They will never keep custom there if they continue with the appauling service. Breakfast was boring and the manager was awful to the staff teelinthemoff! We named the hotel 'telemoff' . Ignore the good comments as that is probably the staff logging in and registering it. The only way people can like this hotel is if they have shares in it! Overall rubbish
