We stayed at El Raset for 2 nights in June. The service is beyond great. The guy (cant remember his name but he lived in Texas for a year) at the front did everything we asked. He was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located right on the port/harbor. It's a nice ocean view. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach where you can rent cheap lounge chairs on the beach.
THere are tons of restaurants on the same street and the hotel runs a few of them. We had great food at their restaurants.
There is free parking on the street if you ahve a car. Also, breakfast is included. One day we slept til noon and they still let us get some coffee and pastries!
They have a computer in the lobby with free internet which is always nice!
The room was a decent size and very modern. We had 1 little balcony in our room becasue we just got the basic. The bathroom was a little small but fine for 2 people. The beds were also a little hard compared to most American beds.
Overall, if I return to Denia I would stay here again. The only reason why I wouldn't is if I wanted a hotel with a pool.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently with husband and 16 year old daughter. Husband and I had a superior room, which overlooked the harbour. It had 4 balconies including one in the bathroom. My daughter had a standard double room which also had a balcony but was quite a bit smaller, but more than adequate for 2 people. Wifi is free in rooms.

Hotel is in a superb position, overlooking the harbour and surrounded by many restaurants and bars.

Staff are all every efficient, and reception staff spoke very good english. Parking can be booked in a nearby lock up for 15 euros a day.

Breakfast was hot and cold buffet, including all the normal cereals and breads, ham and cheeses, plus scambled eggs, bacon and frankfurters. Very good.

Hotel was very clean and bathroom had all the normal shampoos etc, plus toothbrush/paste, shaving kit and comb. Bedding and towels were changed every day.

Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and i stayed in for 3 nights as we were at a wedding in Denia. We stayed on the second floor with a view over the harbour. The hotel was clean, lovely power shower with loads of hot water. There is tea, coffee and hot chocolate available all day in the small restaurant downstairs that you can take back to your room. The breakfast included cakes, cheeses, cereal and loads of fresh orange. A good selection. We had a meal in the pizza restauant next door and also one along the street, we had a fixed menu for 11 euro's that included king prawns, ham, cake and a dessert wine as well as the 3 course meal with drink. Althogether a great hotel, lovely town and beach and would go back again for a long weekend. The town also felt very safe and oops forgot about the great shopping.

Stayed for one night in Hotel El Raset, splitting a car journey from Seville to Barcelona into two days. Booked one day in advance based on the reviews here on tripadvisor, and we are glad to report the hotel lived up to it's good reviews.

The hotel location is great, right on the sea front, and we managed to park across the street (I gather that would be impossible in summer!). The welcome and reception generally was very friendly and efficient. Our room on the second floor had views over the marina and the sea. The room was a good size, with a well appointed bathroom, with a good shower, plus hairdryer.

The breakfast was a compact buffet in the small breakfast area just off reception, offered a small hot selection, as well as the usual breads, pastries, cereals, juices etc. All very nice.

There's an internet PC for guest use in reception, really useful for us (more and more hotels just offer free wi-fi which is no use if you don't want to lug a laptop on your holidays).

We ate at the Pizza / Pasta restaurant that's part of the same building, and owned by the hotel (they have a number of other establishments in the town, some of which I think were closed in low season). It was great, reasonably priced, and just what we needed after a hard days drive. Didn't see much of Denia, other than a quick wander around the castle, but the Hotel seems to be in a great location for the town centre, beach and marina.

It was only at breakfast that we realised we didn't know what star rating the hotel was, and finding it was a 3*, we'd say it was a very good 3.
