“Very comfortable stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 April 2011

My husband and I stayed at the Luna Vista for the last two nights of our vacation. The room was huge and the bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept on! Our Hostess Kala, was wonderful. The breakfast was superb and we felt very much at home. Unfortunately, we were so tired from the beginning of our trip that we would come in and lie down on the bed and fall right to sleep so the only time we could sit down and talk with Kala was at breakfast. She is a wonderful warm person and I jut have to say that my husband and I enjoyed our relaxing, and quiet time at Luna Vista.

“Peaceful, pleasurable, paradise with the best of food and hosts!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2010

If you want a beautiful location away from the crowds and hotel-type atmosphere (or lack of) where you can feel like you're a pampered guest in a home, this is it! We had such a lovely time here - my fiancee said it was the best room he's ever stayed in and he's stayed some very expensive places! Not only was our room (Don Diego) and garden area beautiful, our bathroom and steam shower was a suite in itself. We enjoyed every minute and Kala's breakfasts were the best we have ever had. Her cooking was so good we begged for dinners as well and only went out one night. Don't worry about the dirt road - it's worth it!!!

“Daring Approach to Luxurious Leisure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2010

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Luna Vista--and next time, we'll stay longer. Peace, Quiet, Excellent Food, and an engaging and interesting hostess (Kala.) The bed was super comfortable, and little amenities (like a night light in the bathroom) are much appreciated. You could wander around for days reviewing the decor inside and outside.

We came in well after sundown, over roads that tested our nerve (luckily I'd done serious country driving before). NO low-slung sports cars need apply. But it's way, way worth the trip!

“Environment, hospitality and food all way above par.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2010

The hostess goes out of her way to enrich the experience and make her guests feel relaxed in this gorgeousand spacious home. Her cooking is famous around the area. The grounds are quiet and removed from any noisy distractions so you can forget any other stress and just be pampered and listen to the bird calls.

“Just when you think you are on the wrong road, the Luna Vista appears”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2010

We've stayed in B & B all over and this beautiful home, with a most gracious and wonderful hostess was about the biggest surprise you could ever ask for! The place LOOKED beautiful on the website (IT WAS!) and the location was what we needed, in order that we could go to the Indian ruins on the way between Phoenix and the Grand Canyon, so we gave it a whirl. Well, 15 minutes into the directions, my husband and daughter were whining! It is all dirt/stone/washout road (easily traveled with a normal vehicle) but the local homes kept getting further and further from the pictures on the web! Oh boy, was this a great lesson! The home is an architectural gem, the owner is a total joy , the food was great, and the 'themed' rooms from the owner's travels are wonderful. Just keep following the web sites directions and don't give up hope! IT IS SO WORTH THE LITTLE DRIVE!
