The facilities in the hotel were, in general pretty good; Pools were clean and rooms comfortable. Location is also ok, with parking expensive. However, the main area of complaint is the restaraunts and specifically their ability to manage any type of food allergy. Our daughter ordered a chocolate ice cream only to be presented with a hazelnut one with potentially life threatening consequences, she has a severe nut allergy. The staff, whilst apologetic, were unprepared, dis-organised and totally unaware of the severity of the situation. We had to get directions from the reception to find the local hospital - it was hopeless. Subsequent discussion with the hotel senior management was equally fruitless with what turned out to be empty platitudes about ensuring the situation was not repeated at best, and attempts to put the responsibility onto us at worst. As a follow up they agreed to write to us, at our request, with precise details on how they were going to train staff about the dangers of serving inappropriate food, we have heard absolutely nothing since. I would STRONGLY ADVISE those with any form of allergy or medical condition to avoid this hotel at all costs. They are unprepared and on our experience unwilling to put the procedures in place to ensure mistakes don't occur or deal with them in a responsible and professional manner if they ever do.
