We had a very relaxing long weekend at the Atrium, a small, friendly hotel with a decent restaurant and very helpful owners in a run down village, albeit one with a large sandy beach. Quiet, comfortable, good breakfast in the next door cafe, Great roof top balcony with hot tub for evening drinks. Food was good if slightly ambitious (avoid the tempura) with excellent wines at reasonable prices. Take the path at the end of the village for a hilltop walk or cycle and to find some quieter (mainly nudist) coves. Cala Leon was the best we went to - very secluded with few people even on a sunny weekend. Best reachable by hire car as you wouldn't want to take your own down this track. Palm tree lined Percheles beach also lovely, if you don't mind the post-industrial apocalyptic landscape you have to drive through to get there.
