This parador is beautiful renovated. The rooms were very nice and clean.
There is no parking in front of the parador, and the parador;s parking is very hard to find. It's located in the back of the parador, outside the city walls. (There is an elevator that will take you and your car to the garage). Park on the street in front of the parador, then run inside and get a map from the front office.

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. Located in the historic centre of the town in an impressive 15th-17th Century convent. Room was large but bathroom could be bigger and a bit more modern. Recreation area and lobby were quite amazing. There is a small and very flat pool: Not really for swimming but nice for refreshing. Rooms rates are higher than in other Paradores, but worth. Overall nice destination in western Spain.

This is one of the best Paradors I've stayed in. It's a former convent and the building has been sensitively restored in such a way that you feel transported back in time (but with all the luxuries of a modern hotel, of course!) It's worth exploring the many corridors and public areas of the hotel because the furniture and decoration really evoke the history of the place (e.g. the painted roof beams in the enclosed cloister).

It has a good outside swimming pool and the breakfast buffet can only be described as bountiful!

Our room was quiet and we were very comfortable. There is free wi-fi. The hotel has an underground car park (accessed using a car lift - quite an experience!): there is a charge for using this.

This wonderful building is a delight to stay in - beautiful spaces, large bedrooms, history exuding, and quite good service. The menu is typical Parador and not really too good, very like any other Parador. Much better is Succo in the middle of town, a 5 minute walk.
