The stay was just perfect, the service and reception were helpful and kind. I will go back for sure. A good place to get lost and have a good rest with no surprises at all.

A fifteenth century convent which in places seemed more like a castle. The rooms set around a large cloistered courtyard are accessed by a sweeping stone staircase. The bar and restaurant felt as if they were from a medieval castle. Conveniently located just inside the city walls with great access to the town. The car park (accessed by a lift) is handy but a little pricey.

This parador is beautiful renovated. The rooms were very nice and clean.
There is no parking in front of the parador, and the parador;s parking is very hard to find. It's located in the back of the parador, outside the city walls. (There is an elevator that will take you and your car to the garage). Park on the street in front of the parador, then run inside and get a map from the front office.

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. Located in the historic centre of the town in an impressive 15th-17th Century convent. Room was large but bathroom could be bigger and a bit more modern. Recreation area and lobby were quite amazing. There is a small and very flat pool: Not really for swimming but nice for refreshing. Rooms rates are higher than in other Paradores, but worth. Overall nice destination in western Spain.
