My partner and I and our child stayed here for three nights. We froze for two nights until we sorted out a little heat from the air conditioning system. This was after consulting with the hotel staff who did not seem to make any change after our complaint. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was good (buffet). However all issues were escalated to the hotel director who only talked to us on our departure. We were in an end room with a bathroom that was FREEZING. We used extra blankets to stay warm and our 1 and a half year old slept with us to stay warm. The rooms were not even clean as we had to move the beds and there was dirt under both of them, The bathroom had mould and rust and did not feel clean. According to the hotel director NOTHING was amiss. NO apology was forthcoming and all we wanted was him to recognise that for a SUPPOSED 3 star hotel this was not acceptable. He had no concept of customer service and was defensive and agressive in his non-acceptance of any issues. We will be back in Amunecar again and would love to avail of this hotel given it's location and the general staff support. But NEVER while this director runs a hotel with freezing and unclean rooms.
