we stayed here for 6 nights in october 2006 - it has a lovely location across the road from the beach, its like a small village with appartments built along a path leading up to reception - the grounds on first look are lovely however they are a little tired with broken bricks and loose slabs, as the hotel is flat it makes it very suitable for wheelchairs but you have to be careful with the edges of the paths as this is where you will find the broken bricks and path edging - the appartments are quite nice with a bedroom bathroom kitchen and a living room - all the rooms are off a corridor so the living room can be used as a bedroom with a double sofa bed and you dont have to go through this room to get to others ! the problems we found were although this is a self catering hotel there is no kettle ! i have a thing about kettles and i am ENGLISH - i need a cup of tea in the morning ! it doesnt taste the same when you have to boil water in a saucepan, also the grill in the microwave oven didnt work, the light in the kitchen packed up and there were quite a few ants and if you want to watch tv you have to visit reception and leave a deposit of 20euros and then it is spanish tv only - the swimming pool is quite small and is set up for disabled access with a lift which is fantastic - we didnt eat there so cant comment but dinner wasnt served until 8 which is a little late for us anyway - there are a few bars to the left of the hotel and the mexican resturant was superb - to the right of the hotel is a small supermarket - if you are looking for something which is cheap and clean and you dont mind not having luxury this is the place for you - its in a good location and maybe we just had bad luck with the appartment - if you are on the ground floor it can be noisy as people are walking past your windows and if its hot you cant leave them open and trying to work out windows, curtains and internal shutters was like being on the krypton factor !
to sum up the people are friendly, its kept clean its on a lovely beach
