stayed at this hotel while snowboarding in sierra nevada.it was a good 20 minutes drive from the ski resort(if you know where it is). the hotel itself is in a residential neighboorhood.
The Good: Hotel is brand new, very grand with big open public areas.stayed in room 116,big room, comfortable bed, satellite and domestic tv( on satelite you had german and english tv Channels), big wardrobe, safe, air condition very good, underground parking (extra charge),but plenty of parking outside the hotel, very competitive prices for granada area.gentleman at reception on check in spoke good english.
The Bad:Location is really hard to find, needs better signage. passed by twice before some locals pointed me in the right direction. there was no translation in any other language for hotel information, menus etc.gentleman at the roomservice phone spoke no english, went to reception to order, phoned down for a iron and ironing board, nobody could help.lady on check out no english again, was kind of tricky to make her understand that we were overcharged on one item. the hot tub bath did not work, drawn a bath after a long day snowboarding only to find out that the tub did not work, the open plan bathroom is not to my liking.some chipped paint and cracked tiles.
dont want to sound to negative, enjoyed my stay and would defenitly recommend this hotel.
i think you just need to have information about the menu or hotel in more then your native language.the outside pool looked very good but it was too cold to use in january.good breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold ingredients.
