As I was checking-in, there was an Orkin pest exterminator leaving, having completed whatever he was called-in to do. If you're a hotel, wouldn't you have this guy leave out of a service entrance or back door? You don't want your guests alerted to the fact that you have bugs in your hotel, especially when they're checking in. But the fun keeps going. I got to my room and noticed that it wasn't particularly clean. All the furniture was beat-up, scratched and rickety. The stucco on the ceiling was peeling off in several places. There were actual blood stains on my box spring mattress. My toaster had a dent in the side of it, like someone had kicked it. The bath tub drain lid was broken off, rusty and sitting a few inches away from the actual drain. Furthermore, I could hear just about everything that was going on in the adjacent rooms to mine, as the walls were paper thin. If it hadn't been so late, I would have checked out immediately, but I had to suffer through a night feeling like I was in a homeless shelter. The one saving grace about this hotel is that the staff is really nice. But that doesn't really make-up for the very poor condition of the rooms.

Despite being called "extended stay", my husband and I were able to book a room here for one night. The hotel has a convenient location near 85. The studio was clean and comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. The in room air conditioner worked great. I had no complaints.

I didn't have any problems here and would stay again. They only do housekeeping once a week, but you can exchange your towels at the front desk at any time. My room came with 4 bath towels, so that wasn't necessary. Small kitchen with built-in 2 burner hotplate, microwave oven, and full size fridge so I cooked a lot. Bathroom amenities non-existent except for soap. Kitchen furnished with dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. Wireless internet in your room is available for $4.99 for the duration of your stay, not per day. Free local calls. Cable TV, but only had about 15 channels, including Showtime. Almost silent air conditioning. The only negative I would point out is that this is not a typical hotel, so there is nobody on duty at the front door after 11pm, so anyone can just walk in the building (like in an apartment complex). You can call an employee by dialing zero even when the office is closed, but single women travelers need to be aware of the lack of security at night. Lots of free parking, and near the interstate, and it's in a nice neighborhood.

Room was clean and comfortable. Hi speed internet worked fine. Front desk staff was not the best but adequate. No housekeeping during my 3 night stay is the way they do business (hence Extended Stay) Great location to be able to jump onto I-85. I would stay again.
