The building is rather old, but well maintained. The lobby with breakfast area is pleasant and decorated with spare, modern furniture and accents. This suburban area of Atlanta is not very pretty, so people stay here no doubt for the easy access to I-285 and I-75, plus various franchise dining nearby--Panera, Starbuck's, Chick-Fil-A. I would stay here again, but I'd probably have a better breakfast somewhere else.

Ive stayed here twice so far. The first time was ok but this time was much worse. I was constantly calling the front desk because of some screw up on their part. My room wasnt clean or stocked with everything, the vending machines on most of the floors either eat your money or are practically empty, they advertise dominos pizza deliery but they dont deliver to that hotel. Housekeeping likes to just barge into your room early in the morning. But The thig that bothered me most of all was the people at the front desk are LAZY and made me walk down there several times to fix all issues. Call me crazy but If im paying guest you should be waiting on me I should not have to leave my room several times because your too lazy to send up stuff that should have been in my room in the first place. The only reason I stayed here was because they accept pets and the rooms USED TO BE clean. Not worth the money. Will not be staying here again.

When I first arrived at the hotel I got the impression that it was clean and well maintained. The hotel has that "clean" smell that everyone loves, but don't let that deceive you. For starters, you need to know that this hotel allows pets and they do not require supervision of them. We were traveling with 3 small children and had been driving for 9 long hours. The only thing we wanted to do was sleep peacefully. That did NOT happen. The guy in the room next to us had a dog that would bark consistently if his owner was out of the room. It just so happened that he was out of the room until midnight! We complained several times to the staff but they were unable to move us, and said that the hotel guest with the loud barking dog would not answer his phone. As we sit there irritated and unable to sleep, I go to throw something away and notice a used condom in the trash can. DISGUSTING!!! If the housekeeping can't bother to empty the trash, I don't want to know what else they forget to do. I immediately carried the trash can to the front desk and they looked just as disgusted as I was. At this time they offered to give us a free night's stay at any La Quinta Inn and Suites hotel. They stated that they would have to mail it b/c there was no manager there. This didn't help the fact that we were staying in a dirty, noisy room for the night, but I said ok and went on.

One month later....No voucher has arrived at my address. I made a phone call to the hotel manager three times over the next couple of weeks. I never received a return phone call nor did I ever receive any vouchers. It has now been 5 months since our visit there.

This experience was by far the best example of bad business and poor upkeep that I have ever seen. It has turned me off to any La Quinta Inn and Suites and I have told everyone I know to never stay at one. I recommend you choose anywhere but here.

First off, let me say this not a four star hotel, but four stars for a budget motel.

King, non-smoking room:
Spacious
Appeared to be newly decorated
Nice faux wood flooring in entry and bathroom
Flat screen TV (32-inch), but limited channels (2 - 38)
Comfy bed and pillows

Breakfast was adequate, nothing special.
Front desk service was excellent at both check in and checkout. The night person actually called someone at home to inquire about good wings in the area. The came back with the Tilted Kilt, but I recommend St. Angelo's pizza (free delivery and very good).

The only negative about the place was the sound. Any little movement in the hallway or adjacent rooms was easily audible. I was lucky that the hotel was relatively empty, but on a busy weekend it could have been a problem. Sitting on my bed I could hear the man urinating in the next room like I was in the bathroom with him. They gave me a different room after check in because someone's dog was barking across the hall from me in my first room. I wasn't going to put up with that. I hope they have pet-only rooms like they have smoking rooms.

All in all, I would stay there again.
