I know TownePlace is the cheapest Marriott to stay at, below Fairfield. And that it is Extended Stay. That said, this place still gave me the creeps and I cancelled our planned 3 day stay after one night. The lobby/breakfast area (comp breakfast comes on a Eliza Doolittle cart 2' by 3'. Four seats in lobby. Front desk check in looks like a haphazardly put together desk and chair. Night clerk could not have been nicer but place is basically not something that anyone high up in Marriott could possibly be happy about. The curved shower curtain rod was loose as a goose and pointed straight downward. No trash can in bathroom. Have to go for kitchen for only trash can in entire suite. No sheets in room for hide-a-bed, had to go back downstairs for that. Tv in living area of suite had no reception. The garbage a tenant left by his front door stayed there all night. A comped breakfast really isnt that necessary for an extended stay--you have a full kitchen. Maintain-wise this was not a Marriott. Design-wise I could not believe Marriott signed their name to an extended stay with a 12' x 20' lobby/front desk/breakfast room "awful" room. The idea, even on the lowest end, Mr. & Mrs. Bill and Richard Marriott, is to have a Great Room with Wi-Fi for any Marriott property. This property should be rebranded to one of those extended stays that rent by the week and the hour. Get rid of this property now.
