Hotel could do with updating, linens warn, but cheap room rates and free breakfast, local shuttle.

I have stayed at the La Quinta probably more than I have stayed at any other hotel. The rate is decent, especially on the weekend and the rooms are nice and all have flat screens. I have also stayed in the suite, which is also nice, except the bathroom is kind of far, especially when I get up at night to use it :) My only complaint is the amount of pets usually at this property. They have a very lax pet policy (no pet deposit required for pets) which I don't mind at all. It's just very annoying when you are trying to relax and there are dogs barking every time someone walks near their door. Other than that, I definitely recommend this hotel. Also, be sure to ask for a non smoking room if it's an issue because smoking is allowed in the rooms.

this was our ( wife & I ) third trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving as our son lives & works there we have stayed at this hotel all three times found to by relaxing, clean , comfortable & reasonable . Would recommend to any one going to Atlanta, close enough to down town with out being in all the traffic

Can tell this is a little aged. Carpets and some furnishings a little old. Rooms are clean. Bathroom was clean. A little noise is noticeable from the hallway if people are slamming doors. No noise from rooms on upper floors, ( I was on the first floor). Breakfast was standard, waffle-maker, boiled eggs, cereal, pastries, juice, coffee. Pillow top beds were comfortable. A few blocks to walk if you want to go to restaurants. There is all kinds of shopping available withing a mile or so. Local neighborhood seems safe. Construction around the area on hospitals but no noise or traffic delays. The hotel is not on a real busy street so turning into and out-of the parking lot is not a problem.
