Located in a good neighborhood. Several dining options...clean rooms

We stayed for a one night stay on New Years Eve, and found this Courtyard to be very clean, well managed and found no problems at all!
The Room was clean and the lady at the front desk gave us directions to our room and it was exactly what we requested, a pool view room on a low floor. The room was nice and roomy, and everything was great. This is a very nice area of Atlanta, and we would stay here again and plan to on the next overnight to Atlanta. It is very convenient to Downtown (about 10 minutes to everything), and so many malls within a few miles you have your pick of where to go!
The Breakfast area was nice and clean and the food was good. Had an Omelet station and the usual Breakfast, bacon, eggs and Sausage and any bread you want as well as muffins and fruit. We got a deal with breakfast and it was very good!
Will stay again!

We booked this hotel while traveling through our Marriott iPhone app. It was conveniently located off the highway. It is within close driving distance to gas stations, grocery store, restaurants, etc. I believe you can cross the street and get to a little strip mall (if you dare). The hotel is very deceptive from the outside. When we first pulled up, I wasn't sure I wanted to stay there. However, I was pleasantly surprised when we got inside. The lobby is nice... very clean and spacious, and they had the Marriott standard of cookies out. Check in took a while, there was a family who had 2 rooms checking in ahead of us and the phone kept ringing, there was only one front desk clerk. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. I would stay here again if passing through Atlanta. We did not have breakfast or use the pool/fitness center, but they looked nice.

I reserved this room at a AAA rate of $84 for a Friday night. I arrived around 9 p.m. The desk clerk greeted me and the phone rang soon after I gave my name. She said, excuse me and answered the phone saying: I am assisting a guest and will need to put you on hold unless you have a brief question. She then continued to talk to the person on the phone throughout check-in. I am a platinum member so usually at check-in that status is recognized. Since she was motioning to me and talking to the caller I was not acknowledged as a rewards member.. I wanted to be sure that I would get credit for my stay so I did not walk away but waited until she hung up the phone and asked her if my rewards number were on file. She said that it was and l think she realized that she had not provided acceptable Marriott customer service.. The room itself was as I requested: high floor, king bed, away from elevator. The room was standard Courtyard. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, flat screen TV, mini fridge, coffeemaker. Some guests came in after I went to bed and I could hear their conversations and slamming doors. The heating unit also made a loud noise that came on periodically through the night, waking me more than once. The next morning I went for breakfast and was in line to be seated behind three other people. The couple in front of me finally tired of waiting left but I stuck it out. An employee walking by noticed the line and asked if we were waiting for tables. When we nodded she went around us and started helping the staff to bus tables. There were several tables that were set and ready but the staff seemed overwhelmed. The breakfast was good--custom made omelette was delicious. No problems at check-out and this time the clerk--not the same one--did speak directly to me. She even answered a question about the area. I would like to stay there again and may, but I did not have a very restful night so I am calling it an OK experience. They do have room service Mon-Thurs. which is unusual for a Courtyard.
