“Nasty, Nasty, Nasty”

The lobby is presentable. Checked in and went to my room. The TV would not even work. The air conditioning/heat system did not work. The glass door to the balcony would not fully close. The room smelled and carpet was filthy and soiled. I had paid cash but the clerk had insisted that I present a credit card as well. Couldn't even get an outside phone line. Used my cell phone and called Master Card. The clerk had ran my card through for a charge. As I entered the lobby to confront him I luckily ran into the manager, and showed him my cash receipt for the room and questioned him why the clerk had billed my card. He fired the clerk on the spot. Had to cancel my card because I felt he was getting ready to go shopping. I insisted the manager give my cash back and I left. This place is a dive and scary as well. As I grabbed a cab some hoods were breaking the windows out of a car in the hotel's parking lot.

“The Dirtiest hotel i've ever seen!!!!”

As you enter the hotel , you sort of think that its not so bad, pretty big lobby .....however when you look at the pool area you think - "How come it looks so deserted , unclean, unattended?" The front clerk was pretty nice, gave me my room key and i was off to my room. The elevator smelled but i figured for $89.00 a night hopefully the rooms are nice and clean. I got to my room and immediatelly smelled something, i couldn't figure out exactly what it was but let's just say it was not pleasant. So preceded to open the balcony door - as i opened the balcony door and entered it - i immediately saw two used cans of soda just thrown on the floor. As i looked down (i was on the 6th floor) - i couldn't see not one person in this entire hotel - it looked so deserted, the balconies looked dirty and covered with pigeon poop. As i decided to take a shower i discovered that the bathtub was dirty, hair in it, then i grabbed a towel and there was hair on it as well, that was the end of it........i grabbed my bags and went back to the front desk clerk. She was really nice once again, apologized and gave me a different room. I get to the other room and immediatelly could smell cigarettes, i decided to open up the balcony door again to let in some air and it turned out that the balcony doors lock was broken and you could not even lock it!! I went to the bathroom again and discovered that there was not towels there - that was the last straw - i went back to the clerk and told her i would not be staying here since they cannot keep their rooms in order. Don't even think about staying in this hotel! It's so filthy and dirty, it's just so gross. I did not see any other staff in the hotel except the clerk and the place quite frankly looks deserted.

“Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2004

The "E-Hotel", which also goes by "Atlanta Palms Motel", is given 3 stars (based on VERY old pictures and info) on many sites. I had the misfortune to book a 3-night stay there in May, and was sorely disappointed (and left after 2nd night.) It is shabby, run-down and dirty (1 star at best, by most definitions). There was NO MAID service for my room.
But worst of all, on Sunday night, a very loud band played a wedding reception until 3AM, making it IMPOSSIBLE to SLEEP (on the 5th floor!) Despite numerous calls to the front desk, they were unable to quiet it. I left the next morning, and requested reimbursement for that night. Management REFUSED, saying it was not their fault, and I had used the room, so had to pay!!!!!!!!
BE WARNED. This is the worst hotel experience (including customer "service") I have ever had. Better off at a Motel 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Beware!”

The hotel is was practically a ghost town. The surrounding neighborhood is marginal and quite deserted feeling even during the day. The room was very small and greatly over priced at $105. We only saw two other guests the whole 5 days we were there. There wasn't even coffee available although room service is advertised(!?) and the pool exists but does not appear inviting, certainly no one was using it. The only positive was a very pleasant and courtious desk clerk otherwise we probably would not have stayed the additional nights we had reserved.I will be relunctant to book on line again in an unfamiliar city after this experience! This is certainly not a 3 star hotel as advertised!
