I recently stayed here with a family member for a week to recooperate from surgery at a nearby hospital. For our purposes, we liked the Penthouse room. The second sleeping area is in an open loft above the living room, but it does have its own bathroom. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. We did not feel unsafe - it is in the middle of suburbia! My companion enjoyed being able to walk over to the breakfasts and happy hours (she said the food was fine, not gourmet, but what one would expect at this price point). Our only issue was that the housekeeping was often very late in the day. Note: I have not stayed at other Residence Inns so I do not have a point of comparison like the other reviewers. I did look at the rooms at some of the other competing chains in the area and the Residence Inn's rooms were the least depressing.
