I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights while my husband had surgery at Emory. It's location is excellent with good access to all areas of Atlanta. The hotel itself was outdated but the staff was friendly and helpful. The other reviews about the elevators were true, don't leave at the last minute to get somewhere! The entrance really needs to be updated as it looks like you are walking into a really shoddy area until you get inside. The rooms are adequate and the housekeeping was good. I had a smoking room and it helped that the window opened as the ceilings are pretty low. The refridgerator and micro were an unexpected welcome as I was staying for a while. Overall I had a good stay and would recommend for a spot to sleep but don't expect a four star hotel!

Hotel was quite nice. Front desk agent was cheerful and very helpful. Dinner was very good. Enjoyed my stay.

I stayed here 3-4 nights in Jan 2012 for business. I didn't spend much time in the area, but overall my stay at the hotel itself went well. The first thing that stood out for me was how friendly the staff were. The buffet breakfast in the morning was pretty good and free as I was provided with free coupons. The dinner menu is good, not great, and the server was attentive and friendly. My room was good. The bed was comfortable and there was good internet access; Wireless and CAT connection and they even provided a CAT cable. My bathroom looked to have some half-finished repairs, but outside of that, no issues. There was also a decently sized fitness room which I made use of. I'd return. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic/time of day.

My recent experience with this property was disappointing. The location is fine and the staff friendly and intent on pleasing; however, the property itself is in need of a refurbishing. The room was dated and needed upgrading. The noise from I-85 was constant. The bathroom mirror was too low to be of use and the hand held shower device would not work when put in the mounts. The toilet in our bathroom clogged and the staff was prompt in fixing it and very diligent in cleaning the bathroom after the clog. The bed and pillow was less than optimum as well. We probably would not stay again.
