This is an older property and the rooms show it sometimes. It is also frequented by construction and utility workers in town for projects. The internet is wired and slow. If you don't have a device with an Ethernet port forget getting online for free. They do have a free breakfast and free dinner but I think it might be during the week only but I am not sure. Well, it's not the best but it's not a no-tell-motel-in-the-sticks continental breakfast and cold sandwiches dinner either.

I have been staying here on business once a month for about a year now and I have not seen the first Wyndham point posted to my account from this property and when I ask them about it they refer me to Wyndham who refers me back to the Hawthorn Suites Atlanta Northwest.

Bottom line: don't expect any Wyndham points from this property and if you or your company can swing it stay at one of the nicer properties nearby; there are many.

So I decided to give this hotela second try and man, what a huge failure. to start, let em say that i am a normal guy. i don't demand room service or much in the way of amenities. i'm just a normal 35 year old guy.
this trip was my trip to see my 7 year old daughter for christmas and i brought my girlfriend and her 5 year old girl with us. because it was christmas, i had sent 2 LARGE boxes of gifts to the hotel. now, prior to the shipment, i called the hotel and was told by a very nice lady that yes, i could have them shipped there and if they knew the room before i got there, they would even put them in the room for me. i was very pleased by this.
so i get there with my girlfriend and her daughter and check in. i checked in at about 8pm, not exactly late at night. check in was fine, although Adriana (the front desk help) had an obvious attitude cause i was making her work. i asked for my 2 large boxes and her answer was, they aren't here. i described the boxes and told her that maybe they were in my room and she threw a hissy fit and started to tell me how it wasn't her job to do that etc. etc. so i went to the room, getting ready to call fedex to see if they delivered. the hotel phone rings and it's the front desk lady who says she found my packages and do i want to come get them. i get back up tot he front desk (which you have to drive to) to find out they were sitting in a coat closet the whoel time and there was a record of this IN MY FILE that she NEVER bothered to look at. so she gave me a damn heart attack for NOTHING. i got no apology, no nothing. she could care less!! she was really a b-i-tch about it.
then we finally get settled intot he room. it's dirty, the towels are clean, but stained, the bathreoom has mold in it, the tub doesn't drain right, there's no water pressure, the pillows are crazy hard, the tv remotes have something caked on them and haven't been clean in ages, there are nails popping out of the door molding and nothing has been repainted in the last decade. the AC units worked, but there was no way to regulate them. on, hot and cold, thats about it.
so i tried again and was disappointed AGAIN. i just can't stay here any more. the only reason i did was to save money and have a 2 bedroom suite. next time, i'll go up the road a bit and get a NICE room with an adjoining room and pay the extra room fee. this place is just crap.

Employees behind the desk not very cordial. Apartment style, not easy to find room at night and the rooms have very thin walls and ceilings. You hear all the outside noise and hear the walking from floors above. Not very clean. I am leary to go through Hot Wire again knowing that this is rated with 3 stars.

Nice neighborhood, lots of restaurants to choose from nearby, clean room. Only stayed one night, but will be back if we stay near Atlanta again.
