This is an older property as others have stated and near the Medical Centers complex which makes it ideal if you have business or personal needs to be near one of the 3 hospitals and/or are there for only 1-2 days. For other purposes you'll need a car unless you are ok with taking MARTA to go to Buckhead or other trendy neighborhoods. This is suburbia and relatively safe but no real amenities within walking distance.
They have a sign saying this was the first Courtyard built and if you travel a lot and think that is a notch in your traveler's belt, just be aware there is no elevator to the second floor rooms. Never did figure out how housekeeping or engineering staff could do their work w/o an elevator but that's what they claim.
Rooms are old, and noisy depending a lot on your neighbors and the activity of the ambulances. Breakfast is not included so you can eat in their lobby area but at your expense. It seems like this is exactly the kind of place that free breakfast should be included, but maybe they get so much business from the hospitals they don't have to offer it. The housekeeping and front desk staff were pleasant enough. The "gym" and "spa" were very basic and small.
Would stay here if required for work, but "traveler beware" if there is a disabled traveler in your party.
