I like older buildings but this was musty and poor ventilation and old a/c in the window.

Staff was nice but owner came across as as snooty type , which was funny in this old place.lol
I guess he likes to think of himself as better,ha.
Good area but some hotels that are much nicer close by.

The Beverly Hills Inn is an Atlanta gem at a great price. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been better. We felt right at home from the time the owner met us at the door. The room was perfect, clean and very comfortable. The entire staff is very helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is great; close to dining and shopping. The owner also gave us a dining recommendation and we now have a new favorite restaurant. Thank you to the Beverly Hills Inn for a wonderful experience.

Great value.Now it's old, so door knobs may not match and there are radiators in some rooms (non-working) but heat was not a problem.We had room #16 on the 1st floor-large closet,bed was comfortable/nicely presented. Wall decor had some nice and old looking pictures with landscapes in dark or gilded frames.Bring your own dishes,etc. One picture did not fit in with the room at all--it was a very large, brightly colored picture of fish & in a plastic, sea-foam colored frame ( out of place with everything else,but harmless). Owner pleasant-apologetic about food left, by previous occupants, in the frig and gave helpful directions to a conference enter. Breakfast was as advertised-yogurt,bagels, juice, sweet rolls & two types of dry cereal,coffee/tea. Close to McDonalds.Pillows smelled strongly of perfume. Quaint/enjoyed.

This is an old but historic hotel, beautiful building which was a home for single women years ago. Each room is actually an apartment and the location is terrific. However, it's pretty run down and the rooms have NO equipment which would allow one to take advantage of the kitchen. Not one pot or pan, not one piece of silverware, no plates or glasses, not even a coffee pot. There is a grocery store very nearby and we expected to be able to make a few simple meals, but it was not to be. Carpets are worn, seems a little moldy too.

On the plus side, you can easily walk to MARTA or any one of MANY bars and restaurants and the hotel is in a pretty, residential neighborhood. Continental breakfast was nothing special, but perfectly adequate. This so easily could have been a terrific place with just some bleach, a good scrubbing, and some kitchen utensils. Doubt we'll stay there again, it's not much less expensive than the chains in the area like Hyatt Place, Courtyard, or Hampton Inn.
