“Real Nice Stay”

I was traveling to Atlanta, GA for a mini-vacation in which we were also attending MegaFest. The overall stay was real nice. Upon checking in I felt that the attendant was hospitable, we were able to upgrade to a better room in the main house which was a plus. I felt safe in the area. We even had a great breakfast each morning. The only criticism I have is that they need to invest more time in a thorough cleaning. Overall I had a good stay and I would recommend it to others.

“A lovely place to stay”

My husband and I stayed at the Ansley Inn two nights. We arrived on Easter Sunday, late afternoon, just before the daily wine and cheese were served. What a welcoming invitation after a long day! We stayed in the wing and the room was slightly smaller than I expected but was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful regarding restaurants, shopping and attractions. Although, the Inn sits in a neighborhood of old historic homes, there were several restaurants within walking distance (< 1 mile) which we took advantage of. An excellent breakfast was served in the morning --- everything from fruits and cereals for the light eater....to eggs, bacon and grits for those looking for a heartier meal! The Inn is close to several attractions and very convenient to downtown. If you're looking for someplace that's just a little different, you owe it to yourself to stay at the Ansley Inn.

“The Best of the Best!!!”

Loved this place! I will always stay at the Ansley Inn everytime I go to Atlanta. Very easy access to Buckhead and Downtown. 2 Blocks from Marta. They are located in Midtown, right across the street from the High Museum of Art as well as the Atlanta Symphony and Atlanta Botanical Gardens. There are great restaurants walking distance. The best part is that everyone makes you feel right at home. I have family in Atlanta and I would rather stay at Ansley Inn than their homes. Oh... and wait until you try the Breakfast(YUMMY)!!! They also have a nightly wine and cheese. We do not drink so the warm chocolate chip cookies and the sodas were a great treat!

“Mixed review for the Ansley...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2005

I stayed in the Ansley Inn for two nights--a Saturday and a Sunday, one night in the wing and one night in the beautiful Peachtree room. I was pleased when I found the Inn online because I was planning to spend some time at the Woodruff Arts Center and wanted to be close (by the way, "walking distance" is pushing it--we drove). The Inn is very, very beautiful, and I was given a small price break on the Peachtree room since there were no main house rooms for me for both nights. The owner is accomodating, decor is lovely. I had a fantastic time at the Ansley--but this was mainly due to the time spent with my boyfriend, because there were some major issues. At 5am, a false fire alarm went off and woke us from a a dead sleep. When I went downstairs, I was told to "go back to sleep--it's a false alarm". No apology. The next morning, they said a guest was taking a shower and the steam set off the alarm--doubtful. After FINALLY falling back to sleep, I awoke to literally dozens--possibly hundreds--of small black ants all over the bathroom flor, walls, even in the shower. Since I had someplace to be, I had to take a shower and try to avoid them. When I voiced my complaint, I was just told that the person "helping" me didn't recall that ever happening before. I probably would have sprung for the Four Seasons had I known my sleep would be disturbed and that I'd have to shower with ants!! Hopefully the fire alarm issue wil be taken care of and the house will be exterminated--if both happened, I would recommend.
