I booked this hotel based on the information I saw on my mobile phone app. I wanted a hotel that was close to a MARTA station and also provided a local shuttle. When we arrived at the hotel we were told that the shuttle did not run at all on the weekends. When I called Sheraton's corporate offices I was told that their website indicated that it did in fact run on the weekend. The manager of the hotel offered to reimburse us for two taxi cab trips to the MARTA station and while I appreciated the gesture it didn't quite pan out like we had planned. We ended up just driving ourselves, which we didn't want to do. We weren't going to wait an hour for a cab to take us two miles.
The beds in our room were so hard it was like sleeping on a rock. I am writing this review two days after returning from Atlanta and my back is still sore. There were also suspicious stains on our sheets. The housekeeping didn't only left us two towels when they cleaned our rooms, but I didn't even bother asking for more because I was already so aggravated with the hotel at this point.
None of the features listed on their website are available on the weekend, which is very disappointing when you book a hotel based on certain features that are important to you. I am a SPG member and I would rather lose the opportunity to gain points on a stay than to ever stay at this hotel again. How in the world this hotel is ranked number 3 in Atlanta is beyond me. I have stayed at one star hotels in Atlanta that were far better in both service and quality than this hotel.
