“Not a fan of the Hyatt's.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

We spent one night here while visiting friends in Atlanta. It was our first time in a Hyatt that I can remember and we've decided we aren't fans.

While the room was clean and the staff was friendly, we'd probably pick something else the next time in town.

Pros: They did have food available for purchase which was nice when got back to the room late at night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: The setup of their rooms is awful. I don't understand why they put the couch in as it just seems to be wasted space. I'm also not a fan of the sink being outside the bathroom. No exhaust fan in the shower area so you had to leave the door open. The closet is impossible to use the way it's jammed in behind the tv and next to the think.

Another con is breakfast. It was a very basic breakfast with toast and muffins. Anything more than that you could order and pay for..

Lots of hotels in the area to choose from.

“Hyatt Place does it again!”

We stayed here on our first night flying in from Atlanta frm the UK. It is only about 10 minutes from the airport so it is a good option for recovering after a long flight.

The woman who checked us in was lovely and insisted on giving us a guided tour of the hotel facilities. Our room was just like every other Hyatt Place room we've stayed in - pleasant, clean, spacious, and well appointed, We paid just $77 plus taxes for a room with two beds. We slept like babies.

In the morning we took advantage of the free breakfast, but because we had a long day ahead we ordered a couple of omelettes (which cost extra). We didn't find them very tasty so in future we will jst stick to the free breakfast.

For us, a Hyatt Place room is somewhere we wouldn't mind living, so it really does feel like a home away from home.

Hyatt Place - you are our favorite hotel chain!

“Pretty Good Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

My room was clean. It took a couple calls to the office to get clean towels, but that was no big.

“Caring, welcoming environment”

After a long day of travel and a hassle-filled adventure getting to the hotel - I was delighted to be received by doormen, check-in staff and others who greeted me warmly, assisted me readily and presented the hotel to me beautifully. The staff matched the beautiful lobby, so to speak. The rooms were comfortable, well kept and lovely. It was a perfect short stay hotel.

“Very nice comfortable hotel with big rooms”

We stayed at this Hyatt Place prior to our Atlanta plane flight the next day. The hotel has very large rooms with a huge 42 inch flatscreen tv, large couch, and refrigerator. We watched some of the bowl games and ordered food downstairs which was quick and we were able to take it to our room. The only thing I would recommend would be to maybe add some more pastries to breakfast. We parked our car at the hotel for three days and the service shuttle was quick and right there when we came back from our trip. We will definitely stay at the Hyatt Place again.
