I actually saw a couple of rooms in the main house that looked like the one's on the 'websight-but of course, those were unavailable. I simply went there to rent a furnished comfortable place to stay while in between apts. I was given a room in a "cottage" I was unaware that in 20 DEGREE weather, this meant quarter inch cracks the entire length of the door allowed constant icy wind to hit your face while in bed and one inadequate and broken heater to keep the room at 52 "toasty" degree. I suggested $3 weather stripping or at least a decent heater. The weather stripping I guess was too much and I was told I had to wait for the heater to warm up-2 days later. Oh, and once they have your money, no refunds.I have called the Atlanta Housing Authority.

I stayed at the Midtown Manor for three nights with my fiance when we went to Atlanta. The room was very nice, and while there were little things here and there that could use updating, I loved that it wasn't a big huge chain hotel like all the others in downtown. Midtown was a great location to stay in becuase there was off street parking, you are in walking distance to several amazing restaurants and you feel like you are in a neighborhood and not in the middle of a city. We are actually stayign there again when we return to Atlanta for Thanksgiving.

I stayed for the second half of summer 2001 at the Midtown Manor on business. The prices are low, but the management is sketchy and so are the other tenants. I felt like I was staying in an undercover halfway house at times. I found roach motel traps under the bed and under the desks. The interior is terrible and in major disrepair. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. IT'S FABULOUS!
