I am a Priority Club Platinum Member, although the hotel recognized me for my loyalty, the gifts I received did not prove to be of any use to myself. I received a ticket for a free drink and a free breakfast, neither of these are useful if you do not choose to drink or if you must leave for the airport before they open for breakfast, this was my case.
I suggested to the person on duty that maybe a better approach would be to offer choices to the members that stay at your hotel. Let them choose between a free drink, free apetizer, free breakfast, or maybe even bonus points added to their Priority account. This type of approach would ensure that the gifts you are offering have the intended result, unlike what happened to me. You could even use a tiered system... choose one of the four if you are a gold member and any two if you are a platinum member.
This is just a simple way to make sure that what you are offering as a bonus is truly received as one.
