I stayed at the W Midtown after being approved at the last minute to travel to a conference on business. Being one of the only hotels available, I had to bite the bullet and risk the criticism of my boss for staying at the notoriously lavish W chain. Fortunately, I was able to secure a great rate.

The room we stayed in was EXCELLENT. I typically am a very critical person of hotels I stay in and this was the first time I was pleasantly surprised with almost no complaints! About the only thing that I wasn't impressed, was the amount of items for sale in the room that were extremely expensive.

The bed was about the most comfortable one I have ever slept in besides my one at home. I woke up feeling refreshed each morning and looked forward to coming back every evening!

I would highly recommend this to anybody who enjoys the finer things in life and who can appreciate a nice hotel room.

Let me first say that I have stayed at a LOT of W Hotels within the past year, and this is by far the Best W Hotel by far. Everyone from the check in desk (I believe his name was Jonathan) to the "whatever whenever" department (mostly spoke with Sue)... was AMAZING!
First, when greeted by the front desk Jonathan was very professional and made my W Experience very memorable, he was attentative and geniunely concerned about my stay... He gave me an upgrade becuase of my SPG Platinum status and GAVE me this amazing suite. The room/suite was sleek, modern, and very clean.
When I realized I left my toothbrush at home, I called the Whatever Whenever line and within 10 mins. An cute Asian girl had it delieverd to my room... the same girl also brought over the coffee maker to me as well....
All in all the staff was amazing at the hotel, and I will def. be back there soon!
OH and i also forgot Jonathan was also working the Cafe the next morning and completely took care of our bkfst for us because of the rain. Thanks Jonathan and we will be looking forward to seeing you soon!

When booking a room at any W hotel- I always expect and get the best service. So it was a no brainer that I would plan my 30th Birthday (August 21st)/Bachelorette party at and centered around the amenities of a W hotel. This time, I was blown away by the staff- specifically concierge, Rande Head.

Not only did he confirm and reassure all our reservations at the Spice Market, Bliss Spa and Craft, but I was also greeted with a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and later a birthday cake at the hotel. Rande also went above and beyond with scoring us a table next to the DJ booth at Whiskey Park (club at the W hotel) and connecting us with VIP treatment at Opera- who gave us a bottle of champagne and a private cabana!

To this day my girlfriends are still talking about how much fun they had. I will most likely never forget the occasion. And, to be honest- Rande made it all happen smoothly, flawlessly and most of all memorable. See the attached pictures.

This is a excellent location for a romantic getaway . We stayed at the W Midtown for our anniversary and it was amazing. While you are there make sure you try the Spice Market Restaurant .
